Just ordered 2 new pens to make these work. I had the Amazon Basics pen but these ink cartridges did not work and actually jammed the pen up. Purchased 2 by the same manufacturer. So far, so good!

I got these inexpensive fountain pens that surprised me with how well they wrote and they didn't dry out. But they only had one cartridge each in crazy colors. I am a black ink person and I had a hard time finding cartridges that fit. These work!

I tried these refills in three of my fountain pens. This item doesn't stay installed. My fountain pens were from different places, so each is different. The cartridges are too small in diameter and don't stay seated in the base of the pen. I wasted $30.

Great product! The ink is beautiful and smooth, it dries quickly and attaches to my fountain pen easily. The price is so reasonable too

These don't fit my pens. I am newer to fountain pens so I didn't realize there are different neck sizes. So I can't mark it down to 1-star due to my mistake but at the same time it wasn't clearly defined either (at least not at my point of purchase.

I have a fairly nice collection of fountain pens and I use converters for almost all of them. I chose these cartridges for some of my daily carry pens, mainly because refilling pens in the office is a messy business and popping in a cartridge is quick and simple. These work well, but they don’t fit every pen I have – even ones with the right bore and feed size. This is a generous box of ink cartridges – 6 boxes, 10 cartridges per box. That enough ink to get me through a year or more. Being self contained and sealed, these should last on the shelf if stored properly for a long time. These are priced nicely too. I found a pen that had the right bore and feed, and I even inspected the converter next to one of these cartridges to make sure that these would work in that pen. When I put the cartridge in, the feed popped the seal like it was supposed to but the cartridge would not stay in the pen. It did the same with another pen that was similar. I found a third pen for which the cartridge seated properly and doesn’t come out without help. When writing, the ink flows properly and it seems to be very consistent. I am not displeased. I selected the blue color, and the color is a royal blue, not navy, and I am very pleased with that as well. I have enough dark blue ink already, so seeing a brighter color was a pleasant surprise. These aren’t bad cartridges – I actually do like these. They work well once you get them into a pen that will hold them snugly. I would check carefully to see if they’ll fit before you try and put them into your favorite pen, though, or you’ll potentially end up with a mess.
