I've been trying various pens lately trying to find one that had the perfect combination of quality ink, no streaking, good feel and grip in the fingers, and a balanced weight. This OHTO GS02 roller gel pen (olive colored) is close to perfection for my preferences. The solid metal tapered case delivers what I would call a perfect combination of grip and weight to allow for an enjoyable writing experience that leaves you wanting to continue writing. It has a high quality feel than most pens and delivers on so many levels. You must buy one to understand. Fantastic pen. Been using it for 6 months now. Smooth writing, and long lasting ink. It’s a solid metal construction that feels good in the hand, and has nice weight.

Nice pen, weighty but a bit heavy near the grip for my liking. Would like the weight to be a bit closer to the end. Otherwise, writes smoothly, very minimal smudging after ink dries. Nice click, pocket clip is not too tight either.

Photo makes quality pens all around. Wish I had found them sooner. Even though it’s a fine rip, still a decent amount of flow, not a super fine line of ink. Very clickable for fidgeting. Writes first time every-time.

The green color is beautiful in person, the weight of the metal feels solid, and it fits great in your hand, but with that said … it’s not the easiest to glide across the paperwork I have on a daily basis. Mostly because the ink doesn’t flow consistently enough, unless you press harder on the paper. However, at the time the ink begins, the thin tip tears the page. I’ll give it 3 stars based on its a great looking and feeling pen… as long as you don’t need to use it. Once or twice a week to sign a receipt would be fine, but trying to use it multiple times a day gets aggravating quickly. Perhaps with a different refill, it’d be a great pen to use as my daily work pen, but as it ships currently? No, if given the chance to purchase again or suggest it to others, I won’t pick it up again often. I’ll leave it out on the side table to quickly sign my name on a birthday card, but I’ll think twice before grabbing it to write more. I personally don't think the material quality is worth the hassle of finding a better quality ink that will still fit this particular body style. Instead, I’d rather go with a better quality ink pen that uses similar body materials and writes in a smoother fashion across the paper. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ TL;DR - Great looking pen, solid, feels good; but not the best quality ink, an inconsistent flow, thin tip tears paper easily.

The functionality of the pen is amazing! The ink flow is super smooth. And the size of the pen is great! The feel of the pen and the design is super minimalistic and luxurious. The value for money is also great! The only problem I had was that the pen didn’t click at first but when you open the barrel and blow inside it starts working again I think it was just dust stuck inside. Also it doesn’t have a round ball to protect the nib I feel that at this price point that should be included other than that the product is amazing!

I hate gel pens because they skip so much and this pen is not different. So annoying. I've liked other Ohto pens but it's the gel ink that bothers me.
