I've been using Rain-X for years, and it consistently delivers impressive results. This latest version is no exception. Just spread it on in anyway reasonable, let it dry a bit, and wipe it off with a clean rag. Wait about 10 minutes and wipe it off with another clean rag. It keeps your windows cleaner longer and reduces the need to run your windshield wipers. If that’s important to you use this product - if not, don’t.

This is a great product. Amazing effect on windshield clarity.

The trigger degrades before bottle empties making spray droplets too large and application pattern erratic. Otherwise great product and spray application is still improvement over prior squirt bottle. Also use on interior shower glass w squeegee to eliminate soap scum.

My driveway is covered by trees that drop sap, bird poop and you name it, so the windows are always filthy and hard to wash. This product is a game changer, because it makes all of that stuff easier to get off. Also, water does just bead up and roll off! It's rather amazing to see the difference between the treated windows, and the untreated windows. It doesn't say that you can do this on the product, but I noticed, at Discount Tires, their windshield wipers are treated with Rain-X!!!! So I came home and treated my wipers. They do seem to swish better. It isn't hard to apply or to buff out. My difficulty is that I am short and I have a van. But I got those windows clean and coated. The summer heat is on, the bugs and birds in the trees are dripping, and insects are flying on the road. I shall see how this all holds up. So far (3 weeks) I feel quite satisfied. I will keep some on hand along with my windshield washer fluid.
