DOES THE JOB The RoPump easily cleared my slow-draining kitchen sink. Supplied cup (on the left in photo) has a diameter of about 95mm and covers my bathroom sink (normal plug size) and larger shower plughole. While it just about fit over the larger kitchen sink hole, it didn't create a good seal. So, as shown in photo, I PVC-taped a smaller cup to the RoPump (from a similar product purchased in past for £8) which fit the recessed plughole well. RELIABLE I'm hopeful it’ll keep its water-squirting oomph for years. My other brand of pump quickly lost its ability to pull in / push out water due to a poor seal between the plunger and the tube. The RoPump has a metal (as opposed to a plastic) central plunger rod. If I put my finger over the end of the pump, it makes a vacuum and the handle stays put. It also looks like you can take off the top by undoing two screws. These design features say ‘well made and potentially serviceable bit of kit’ to me. Time will tell…! NOT DESIGNED FOR LOOS Rothenberger don’t advertise it as being able to unblock toilets. I imagine this is due to its smaller, sink-friendly cup rather than a negative reflection on its loo-clearing potential. If I ever need to unblock a loo, I'd tape on the bigger cup (on the right in photo) from my previous gizmo that safely cleared a toilet before its pump failed. LOO-UNBLOCKING YOUR PRIORITY? Suggest getting a similar water-pump with a larger cup designed for toilets. If it works, job done. If seal is faulty, either A) Return for refund or B) Keep it, get a RoPump and jury-rig the larger cup. POSSIBLE LOO WORKAROUND Attach an old toilet plunger cup using some PVC tape. May need to drill/cut about a 10mm (minimum) diameter hole in cup where handle fits for the water jet to pass through. USE CLEAN WATER This pumps water rather than air so it needs a good fill of the wet stuff to work. When unblocking a loo with a similar product in the past, I didn’t like the idea of sucking foul water into the pump. I just syringed up clean water from the bathroom sink and put a finger over the pump hole as I moved it to the loo where it worked its magic. Simples 😎 SUPER PLUS ROPUMP Looks impressive but I'm happy with this smaller version. It's about £60 cheaper and reusing cups from the previous device gives me flexible unblocking options. This is a great piece of equipment, And it's Reasonably priced✓ Why will you want to buy this product,let me tell you, First I will quickly and more safely unblock your pipes, (Just be wisely aware it's not the air unblocking the pipes,it's the water being sucked up and safely pushing it through with high pressure!!!) Also remember to temoraily safely block the over flow holes,near the sink plucks chain,easily done. This is a reasonably attractive design and quality! I highly recommend it to be used every so often as to prevent future blocks to,I can already for see Thais,that's why it's great! For reasonable kitchen sink,or bathroom sink and bathroom tubs,this is perfect & enough! I wish I would of known this straight away(as I payed for quite a few other products and chemical drain remover which isnt the safest option!) This product i believe,is just genuinely worth buying just to have and keep pipes safely clean! It's highly likely to perfectly solve unblocking your pipe! And if it doesn't perfectly unblock it,that's fine,maybe a genuine plumber is needed! Either way,I highly recommed buying it, Why: Let me tell you again! I've never been so compelled to write a product review before! This thing is just gold! Have been struggling with a blockage for weeks and tried everything to no avail. This thing did the job in just a couple of pumps. The suction is great! Saved so much money in the alternative of sorting it out by a professional. I'm so happy I found this absolutely great but of kit. Highly recommended!!

This is a much better plunger than my previous one. East to draw up water and flush with decent force. I think it will last better and do a better job too.

Does the job

Our waste in the bathroom is a newfangled horizontal one and with toothpaste and soap the silicon insides get a bit bunged up, but a few pumps with this and it is clear, water runs away like it was new, so all I will be doing every few weeks is give it a pump. I will try it on our sink as one side can get a bit slow but sure this will sort it out as well. Shame it has only one size of rubber though, may be looking for a cheap one with extra bottoms.

Never had the oppertunity to try this on the bog, but it's come in clutch for unclogging the sink so was worth the money to have on hand.

Cette pompe est une merveille d'efficacité et de qualité-prix: en 2 minutes de pompage hydraulique elle a réussi à déboucher la canalisation de la douche, ce que notre pompe traditionnelle et autres produits chimiques n'ont jamais réussi à faire ces dernières années de manière pérenne. Incroyable. Ps. Pour déboucher de manière optimale il faut pomper dans 10cm d'eau et en ayant laisser de l'eau s'écouler dans les canalisations préalablement afin qu'elles soient remplies d'eau pour la pression lors du pompage. Ne pas pomper à vide, vous allez juste brasser de l'air.

A ver mi atasco no lo soluciono por qué se ve que era un problema más grave pero me imagino que otras cosas más suaves si podrá, y la verdad que para el precio que tiene, mejor que el chupón de toda la vida puede ser. No sé la verdad

Super Artikel. Mein Waschbecken im Bad war total verstopft, es floß kein Tropfen mehr ab. 2 Liter Drano bereits verwendet. Null geholfen. Mit diesem Druckreiniger 6 x gepumpt, komplett frei. Ich kann es zu 100% empfehlen.

Dans une salle de bains où la pente des tuyaux d'évacuation approche l'horizontale, tout se bouche régulièrement. Je les traite donc tout aussi régulièrement avec de l'acide chlorhydrique. Malgré cela, l'évacuation de la baignoire s'est bouchée, résistant à 1,5 litre d'acide ! Cette pompe de débouchage en est venu à bout en moins de 10 s ! Bluffant !
