Great bang for the buck
This laptop was not cutting edge when I purchased it, but it was only a few generations from the ones that were. For the cost savings, I have zero complaints regarding performance. It's a little janky in the way the video cards work (One is onboard and the other is an Nvidia discrete card). The benefit from that config is the ability to use the laptop for non-gaming functions without burning through the battery. In this way the laptop can double as both productivity and entertainment. Current games run at 30-90 FPS depending on the resolution I choose more so than the graphic quality settings. I can run full quality at full HD with great frame rates with DLSS, but if I crank the display to 2K+, I'll dip into the high 30's (Helldivers 2 for this reference). This review will be dated in a year from now, but this is point in time feedback.

Beast of a Laptop
Absolutely powerful. I came back from work to see it covered in some sort of lemonade and semi wet crystalizations going on in the exterior AND interior of the laptop; I also made the stupid decision of starting it while it was still dripping wet from the air vent underneath... It still works. ITS STILL ALIVE. Two years and counting from the day of the incident. The value for money on this laptop is absolutely GORGEOUS. Speed is very satisfactory for a laptop of this price; new high-end games on Steam are being run just fine in high performance or above average in most scenariors in terms of graphics.

4 months old and sent in for repairs
I bought this computer for my oldest child who is away at school. Since purchasing this laptop we've had a few issues. First issue started with in a week of receiving the device, this started with the monitor not powering on when the laptop powered up. Contacted ASUS support for help. First CSR disconnected from us without assisting in fixing the issue. The second CSR was magnificent and helped us get everything at that timr under control and working. Second issue is the machine just won't power up at all. This started in December. Went through ASUS Customer Support and did all their Tier 1 prompts for troubleshooting the device not powering on. CSR determined after going through everything that it had to be sent in for repairs. This seems to be a reaally common issue with the A15 laptop across the multiple years they have produced it. Personally at this point if someone is looking for a laptop and asked me if i would recommend it, i would recommend looking at another laptop. Update July 2026: had to use the Asurion twice for the same issue. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.

in the best price and in the specs
Excellent Value & Performance During Discounts This laptop is an incredible deal, especially during discount periods. The price, considering the features it offers, is truly exceptional and stands out in its class. Performance-wise, it handles both day-to-day tasks and more demanding applications smoothly. i bought this laptop with the expectation of using it as a tool in learning 3d animation and gaming it performs very well in gaming and 3d modeling, the screen is just enough to use but can be improved. Overall, if youโre looking for a reliable laptop that packs a lot of power and versatility, and you want to get it at a fantastic price, definitely consider grabbing it at a discount. This laptop delivers excellent value for money and is a top choice in its range.

Good general purpose laptop with some quality of life issues.
This laptop has a great foundation. The Ryzen 7 series octo-core CPU and NVidia RTX 4060 are great and the m.2 drive is large also it works with a mainline linux kernel. The downsides in my experience are more frustrations than outright failures. My main complaint has to do with the keyboard backlight and the trackpad. The latter is just too large, sensitive, and close to the space bar making touch typing difficult. The keyboard backlight is an issue of over-engineering a solution until it becomes a problem. Instead of just an ON/OFF switch the keyboard backlight is controlled by a micro-controller which sometimes enters into a state where it thinks the machine is off when it is running leaving the backlight disabled which makes reading the special function buttons difficult.

Great quality laptop for gaming or video rendering.
Bought this for my son for college. He needed something with a little more power since he will be rendering videos and such for his major. He of course also plays games on it as well. He hasn't had any issues with gaming or video production on it so far and has had it for about a year now. The design must be nice since je brings it to classes so he carries it across campus and hasn't broken it yet (or he is just taking good care of it). It does not have issues connecting to Bluetooth or wifi. Over all I am impressed with the quality.

Choose a different brand.
It's riddled with minor problems. It always says the power cord isn't plugged in right. The screen flickers sometimes. When playing some games there's a visual stuttering of up to 2 seconds. The screen brightness constantly changes itself. The big problem however is that if you just close it and expect it to go to sleep it doesn't always even though the fan shuts off which leads to over heating. Fortunately it hasn't over heated enough to brick the laptop. I have to power it off completely if I want to leave it for more than about 20 minutes.
