I ti a completely manual lens so one has to experiment a little with exposures, which is not too much of a problem with the instantly viewable images that digital cameras provide. Shoot, look and adjust exposure settings if required. Focus is mechanism is firm and smooth, very pleasant to use. For me, it has produced sharp and pleasing images.
