A SOLID QUALITY ARCADE FIGHT STICK
Here’s my review: This Arcade Stick just launched and it’s my first PS5 stick, although I own many others from Hori Hayabusa to Madcatz. I’ve been collecting sticks on many of the previous generations of consoles going all the way back to the SNES, through PS1, Dreamcast, etc. The smaller size of this model took me by surprise and is ideal for my small hands while being really responsive. In Street Fighter V I’m able to pull off all my moves with Ryu and other characters. There’s no issue as the mini size makes things a lot easier with less travel. People say that it’s too lightweight and slips.. well, I disagree and don’t have any issues, while finding it perfect on my lap. It’s so comfortable and responsive, coupled with the fact that the buttons are nice and have a good tactile crisp response with extreme precision. The main thing that I like is that it’s not too big or cumbersome, mostly, not heavy on my lap either. I was in two minds when preordering this arcade stick, but now I’m glad I didn’t cancel it and have found my new love to aid me in becoming a better warrior for my fighting games. It’s absolute perfection and at £55 a real bargain with a durable feel and pleasant modern aesthetics. I may have other more expensive sticks, but I’ve taken a huge liking to this due to it being a lightweight option that has a small footprint. I know for sure that I’ll be using this as my go to option. True, you can’t upgrade it, there’s no cable management/storage, but I don’t need all of that - I just need a quick and cheerful way to get into my gaming. It’s also great for retro games like Streets Of Rage 4, Double Dragon and Final Fight, with no problematic issues to speak of whatsoever. This controller is beautifully made with high quality components and is well designed. I’m extremely happy with my purchase and recommend it to any PS4/PS5/PC fighting fan… it’s a real beauty and proudly matches my PS5 Digital console in all its glory. The arcade stick market is saturated and people always complain about things, Sanwa fans hate Hayabusa sticks and vice versa. With this stick, Hori has used its own propriety parts from their decades of experience and nothing has been compromised in delivering a solid portable option for fighting fans everywhere. Obviously you wouldn’t use it as a tournament stick, but most gamers are casual players at home on their couch. Even though I do have tournament sticks, I can see myself using this for pure convenience and comfort. Hori have delivered on their promise and I have no affiliations with them. I’m a fussy gamer and have bought this with my own money, so pleasing me is an achievement in itself. Indeed, I’m very happy with my new purchase. I’ve been playing Japanese arcade fighting games and beat em ups for most of my life, so if I say it’s good, it’s good… brilliant in fact. Go and get one now and have the peace of mind that it’s money well spent. SCORE 5/5

Best quality possible for how much you pay.
The stick is maybe a little looser than I would like but for this being the first fight stick I've touchced in ooverall decade, this thing feels awesome. I was iffy about it being a PlayStation branded one since I play on PC but thankfully it plays great with my PC. I bought it for Tekken 8 and it really does feel like ike it was meant for that game.

HORI Fighting Stick Mini
Im using this stick on a PS4 and it works a treat for me. I’m an absolute novice on fighting games so I can’t supply anything meaningful apart from it works great with SF2 30th Anniversary, MK11, VF5 and Injustice but I bought it primarily to play the arcade classics and for this it’s superb. Lovely compact design which suits me perfectly. Would wholeheartedly recommend and I’m very happy with my purchase 👍🏻

This is my first time ever buying a fighting stick. I recently downloaded a few platform games on my PS5 and wanted to try out a joy stick/fighting pad just for the fun of it. This fighting stick is dope. Never owned another so I can't compare but the quality and ease of use on this device is phenomenal. The buttons feel great and the whole unit is if good quality. joy stick is very responsive. However since it is so small there's a few cons. First, if you're playing on your lap, the unit will slide very easily due to its minuscule weight. Secondly, as I play on the PS5, there is no touch pad or a button you can use to access menus that touch pad provides on PS5 games. If a game you're playing requires you to press the touch pad to access it, you will have to connect your regular controller to gain access, and then switch back to the fighting stick to continue playing. A bit annoying but simple to get around. In summary, the construction, color and materials used are top notch. Literally plug and play. Super lightweight. I would recommend it to any beginners like myself that aren't looking to break the bank for a once in a while use of a fighting stick.
