Basic book, recipes lack basic details, not very inspirational, not worth the hype, not worth the re-print.

The recipes are authentic, instructions are easy to ready, easy to make, and taste very good. I've made quite a few of them and everyone raves over the dishes I make from this book. Madelyn's daughter has refreshed the recipes and print is easier to read. I actually knew the author and have her original Lebanese Cuisine. If I make the same dishes sold at St George Antiochian Church Festival, my food taste the same!

One of the most amazing Lebanese food recipes books I have owned in my entire life. The pictures, the recipes and the layout is amazing and very clean in a perfectly sized book. So many classic and timeless recipes I grew up with my mom making for me, now I can practice cooking them myself with the guidance of this fantastic recipe book. Bought 2 copies, one for myself and one for my mom so she could add to her collection. We are so satisfied 😌

A great cookbook for beginner and expert home cooks alike. Full of tasty recipes, I just wish I could make my cooking look half as good as the pictures. Personally a big fan of the Mihshi section for all things stuffed.

I own an earlier edition of this cookbook and love many of the recipes. This version has a more attractive format and some of the recipes have been edited, apparently for better results. Unlike the earlier version, this one has a decent number of photos. For someone who is not looking for gourmet results, just great home cooking, this is a "go to" classic. Many good chicken and vegetarian recipes!!!
