Prime-Line H 3547 Universal Die-Cast Louver Operator (Single Pack)

When I moved into my place all 18 handles were missing for my louver windows, so suffice to say I was thrilled to find these at this price. The price and the fact that the turn handle and arm are good quality is the upside to this kit. If you look at my pics, you’ll notice you can install these two different ways. I found installing them “upside down” (second pic) did a better job of sealing the window closed. On to the downside; the e-clips included are pretty low quality. Out of the 18 I ordered about half were so loose they barely clipper on. The others were better, but not great. Of the half that didn’t clip well, they ultimately fell off during use, one of which led to me losing the pin in the flower bed, but I digress. You’ll notice from my pics, that neither have the clip installed. I ended up putting the assembly in a vice and smashing the pin head ultimately mushrooming it. Some extra effort, but it worked better than the clip ever did. Be aware that there may be some tolerance issues between the moving frame of your window and the arm/pin/clip assembly. That happened with a handful of mine, but I was able to install these on the opposite side “upside down,” and it worked fine. Finally, the set does not come with the screws needed to install them in the frame (hex self-tapping screws in pics).

Is already loose after opening and closing window 2 times. Handle now has 45 degrees of play before it ingages the window.I needed 10 of these, glad I only ordered one.

Order was received today. Not possible use pliers to break-off link atdesired location (too thick). Was even difficult using a vise. Breaks offat hole position instead of link position. There is no part to screw inthe screw to fasten the arm stud and link; only a washer is provided.Overall, the product is unusable.All seven operator packages were opened. All have the same problem. Arethey returnable for a full refund?
