We unboxed and checked that all the parts were there. The assembly instructions are picture only, which would have been fine if the picture details for pieces were larger and clear. There are absolutely no specifics about sides and direction pieces should face. Pictures are very inclear. About halfway through, after having 2 mistakes and having to disassemble I started looking ahead. Still an absolute nightmare. Many holes not drilled, many drilled in the wrong places. Very disappointing. After finally getting it together and attached to the wall. We were glad it was over. Now we just have to see how it holds up and how it sleeps. We have the full, not rated for more than 300 lbs. 2 people at 150 ea would max it, so we will be careful who sleeps on it.

I bought this for my daughter and she is very handy putting things together. It took her 13 hours then at the very end found one of the parts the hydraulics were defective. Now this is a Murphy bed and without them is worthless. She called the Manufacturer and guess what they are out of business. So she had ordered a new set of hydraulics because if I wanted to return it to get my money back she would have had to take that whole bed apart and bring it to ups to return it and that would have been more problems than it was worth. It should be toss in the garage. Plus if something else breaks how does the warranty work when a company is out of business. What a nightmare. I tried to do something wonderful for her and it turned out to be a nightmare!!! I do have to say this is the first time I have ever been so disappointed with Amazon and I have bought a lot of things from them. In the future I will be much more careful on larger purchases.

The price was right for this bed, takes a little work to assemble so needed a professional.
