The years of experience the author claims to have really shine through in this book. It's a comprehensive collection of tips, tricks, ideas and detailed knowledge about impact play. If you're curious about or into spanking, this book is what you should get.

Recently found out that I enjoy spanking and was looking for information on that in particular. This book is well written and very informative. The end has great information for someone who is looking to become a disiplinarian herself with step by step insight.

If you really want to know everything about old fashioned spanking, then this is the book for you. Bear in mind, that this book covers a particular form of spanking. It is only about disciplining and over the knee stuff. No further BDSM stuff is to be found here. As such it is quite a long book, but if this is your thing, then it is very informative. It has techniques, examples of scenes and more. If you aren't into this particular kink, then it is not for you. Go buy SM 101 instead or something like that.

I enjoyed this book. While it gives excellent advise it is also written in a witty style.

Great book. Recommend it to anyone who is interested in this art.

This book is really for people who want to spunk or be spanked in a non-erotic, disciplinarian manner. There is a lot do good technical information about spanking and implements, but as I have more interest in erotic spanking, this book is not really for me.

Book arrived when expected and as advertised.

Very basic book for spanking, but good for what it is. For anyone who has no experience in spankings or would be interesting in getting more of a grasp on technique. This book will probably not have as much to offer to the experienced spanker aside from a few of the resources refferenced in the reading. All in all a very good book.

Gemma Forbes proves that she is highly knowledgeable. The Handbook provides some invaluable pointers from the viewpoint of the Top, and also of the Bottom. I am particularly taken with the detailed consideration of the full range of punitive implements, and the thorough preparation of the room for the punishment, and the psychological preparation of the Bottom.It is very appropriate that full mention is made of the pre-session discussion, to establish what the Top and the Bottom are seeking from the session.

Very detailed and contains a lot of useful advise on how to get the best out of the experience both for you and your partner. Sections on technique, equipment, subject care and scenes. If you are a novice to this area or just want improve your technique then this is worth reading. While the author is a women the advise is appicable to what ever the dynamic of your scene is.
