I have several high end waterbrush sets and these can easily compete with all of them. It's easy to control the water flow, they only disperse water when I squeeze the pump unlike some other brands that continuously leak. The paint doesn't back up into the barrel so they are easily cleaned between colors, they come to a nice point, the large flat is great for doing background washes. I've had a lot of fun painting with them. I've purchased inexpensive sets in the past that have pretty much been junk and got passed to my small grand kids.
