Salty!
Got these for making sure everything in the recipe was vegan, but these are quite salty-tasting. Stock should not have salt in it, as it's a base flavour, so check the taste of the dish if using this before adding any seasoning to it.

I didn't use these as, once they arrived, I saw that the list of ingredients contained something that creates MSG as part of the manufacturing process. As I react badly to MSG, I gave them to someone who was happy to have them.

No celery
Useful for those who can’t eat celery. This is one of very few stock cubes that do not contain it. There may be trace elements but not enough to trigger my allergy. Hurray

Finally!! Hooray!
I LOVE THIS STUFF. I am highly sensitive to MSG and yeast extract, as well as gluten, so this is the only bouillon on the market that I have found that is this clean and high quality. It made a long backpacking trip SO much better by allowing us to make really delicious quinoa and lentils while out there. It is salty, yes, but it's bouillon, so it's kind of supposed to be. A little bit goes a long way, but while backpacking, we used a whole cube for our quinoa/lentils meal and the salt was much needed. I'll still be using this when I cook at home too. THANK YOU for being yeast-free, organic and gluten-free! Also, it's currently free shipping, so another reviewer who said it was $2 a cube, well that's a bummer, but it appears not to be that way any longer.

Great flavor, all natural. It disolves quickly and has a butter and elegant flavor. I use it for soups, rice and sauces. Great product.

Doesn't trigger my migraines!
This is the only bouillon I have found that does NOT trigger my headaches/migraines, which means it really doesn't have any form of MSG in it. Most bouillons and broths have hidden sources of MSG, and they give me brutal headaches. I bought this to see if it would be migraine-safe for me, and it definitely is. However, it also tastes wonderful and just as good if not better as the bouillons with hidden MSG. Whether you have headaches or not, I recommend it.
