I've always used nice and easy but lately I've found it doesn't last as long and I don't like the fact the box isn't sealed from amazon, I struggle to get out to the shops and amazon is convenient. I will continue to use the golden brown from nice and easy but I wish it was as it used to be, longer lasting, the scent is ok and the colour is lovely, covers my grey hairs well.

I purchased this product as I'd used the medium ash brown colour before and wanted to try something different. After seeing some of the critical reviews for this shade, I was a bit apprehensive but all worked out perfectly! The medium reddish brown has a lovely warmth to it without being too red. It also hasn't made my hair really dark (something other reviewers have said). My hair colour before dying was a faded brown/dark blonde (similar to one of the shades on the box). Hair feels in great condition – would definitely use again.

the product is great but the packaging was awful arrived smashed and bashedconditioner split and had leaked over everything, luckily had ordered more than one so had enough to cover the lossbut please dispatch in something more than just a brown paper bag

I followed instructions exactly, dyed over ginger hair and got a strange chocolate brown/red. I knew going into it that it wouldn’t be exactly the same as the box as I was dying over a red base but even the brown tone is off from what the box displays. I like the resulting colour but it is not what I expected or dyed my hair with the intention of getting. I’ve added photos of before and after as well as the colour it was supposed to be.Pros- Easy to understand instructions, Easy to mix and apply the colour, Very short processing time (25 mins)Cons- Stains skin a very dark brown - my gloves tore and I have almost black/brown streaks that I cannot get off of my skin, Tingles in a stinging way - I am not allergic or sensitive to any hair dye or bleach and have never had this reaction before in anything I’ve tried. Washes out brown dye for way longer than any other neutral hair colour I’ve had.Overall, I would recommend this and will be using it again in the future to maintain the colour I have ended up with - only with the root touch up version instead.
