Galaxy S9 Plus Screen Protector, [Dome Glass] Full Coverage 3D Curved Tempered Glass Shield [NO UV Light Included] Easy Install by Whitestone for Samsung Galaxy S9+ (2018) - Replacement Only

For those who don't have experience repairing phones or other DIY experience, the process of installing this screen protector may be very difficult. My most helpful notes for a novice would be to read the instructions the day before installing this, and then again immediately before installing it. Having a day to think about the procedures that need to be done and in what order can prevent mistakes due to misreading instructions or forgetting instructions. Also it is imperative that this procedure is done in LOW LIGHT and that a timer is used. The glue used to adhere the screen protector is UV sensitive. The sun emits massive amounts of UV light and could cure the glue in seconds, and most light bulbs emit some UV light, which can also prematurely cure the glue. The procedure doesn't need to be done in absolute darkness. I performed this twice inside during a sunny day but with the blinds down. Enough light came through for me to see perfectly, but not enough to cure the glue. Another very important detail is that this must be done on a completely level surface! The glue will simply run off of the screen of your phone if you do not have it on a level surface. Another minor suggestion I have is to eat a snack before doing this installation. That helps keep my hands steady and keep me patient.I have a significant history of DIY repairs, computer building, and phone repair, so doing this installation twice was a piece of cake for me. Your experience will vary based on the care you take doing it and the experience you have.I installed one of these several months ago and broke it when I dropped my phone. I just installed another today. The most surprising part of my experience with this product was that the glue held the broken glass screen protector together after it broke and still held it together after I peeled off the old screen protector. Another remarkable feature of this screen protector is that it leaves your phone screen VERY clean after you remove it! I was expecting to be scrubbing off old adhesive for a long time! In my first picture, the spots where the glass broke can be seen, and it is still in one piece. The scratches down the middle of the glass were caused by the tool I used to remove the glass. The second photo is after I installed the new glass.I did get some bubbles in my previously installed glass, but I caused this by dropping the phone. The bubbles did not appear on a part of the glass that the screen displays through, so they did not bother me at all.I notice little to no change in screen sensitivity with this screen protector installed. Also my fingers glide nicely on this screen protector just like the un-protected screen, which is great for swipe typing!Samsung left it up to third party companies to design a product for protecting a phone screen with curved edges, and Whitestone dome really stepped up to the plate with this screen protector. I am very thankful that this screen protector saved my phone from a crack when I dropped it on pavement, and replacing this screen protector was much easier than replacing a cracked screen would have been!!!

Watch the video. Read the instructions. Then watch and read again while installing, if necessary. The installation can be challenging, and if you don't have your phone leveled (per instruction), and the screen perfectly clean (per instruction--and as you have to have for any protector) you will have issues. Also, if you have a case that presses against the edge, it may cause a lift and air bubble around the edge. I did not buy this for the warrantee, as I find most warrantees on inexpensive items are too much trouble to make them worth it.Pros: The best screen protector I've used. Period. Crystal clear, perfect fit, flawless touch response. Feels great. Durable. I'm hell on my phone. I've broken two of these after many drops. My phone's screen is still intact.Cons: A bit of a daunting challenge to install. The directions are complete and detailed, if occasionally a bit unclear--I STRONGLY recommend watching the video. A bit pricey for my taste, but as I said, it's saved my phone twice, so it's worth it.If you want a great screen protector and aren't afraid of a challenge, I highly recommend this. I'll keep buying it until my klutziness finally dooms my phone.

I RARELY ever write reviews. However, because this screen protector completely saved my $1,000 new Samsung Galaxy s9+, I really believe it deserves some praise. I initially bought this product after having purchased a failed curved screen protector that literally fell off 10 seconds into its use. After doing some research, I decided on this product that seemed quite complicated.Installation was very easy, as long as you follow ALL the instructions! My only tip for installation: only put the speaker cover just as low onto the speaker that it JUST covers it and no lower! The first time I did it, I went too low and I wound up curing the screen with a small part of the speaker cover underneath the screen. It came out fine but not perfect and that BUGGED me!So, the screen looked GREAT until one day walking down my brick steps my phone took a tumble down them and the screen smashed against the edge of the brick step into concrere, YIKES ! I was sure my phone was a goner. It looked like the damage was too much and I was thinking I'd have to pay to repair such an expensive new phone.I ordered a replacement in *HOPES* that my phone's screen didn't crack. Well, when I removed the cracked screen with a credit card, hallelujah!! All was good!! I re-installed with no trouble (remembering the speaker sticker) and it looks awesome!Take the 10 minutes to put this cover on, and you won't regret it. It will truly protect your phone!

This is a great protector for your Galaxy phones and in my experience, a great Customer Service. I have now installed on 3 different devices and in my last purchase (this one) I had the bad experience of getting it broken after 2 weeks of installation. After a couple of messages with Customer Service, I received a replacement free of charge because of the recent purchase. I'm really amazed at such good service and excellent follow-up.Be careful with the installation process: watch several videos and follow the instructions; protect the speaker with the small plastic parts and do it in a well level desk. You will have a great product.

Excellent product!!Has saved my screen 3 times so far. Yes its expensive, but so is a new screen or mobile.Watched YouTube video for it before and during and was so easy to do.

Parto con il dire che avendo un canale youtube in cui testo e recensisco tanti accessori, smartphone e gadget per smartphone, ho avuto modo di testare tanti tipi differenti di vetri temperati e dopo una lunga ricerca posso dire che i vetri della Whitestone dome glass sono i migliori sul mercato. Sono gli unici che nn presentano mai problemi con gli smartphone con i vetri curvi, non hanno rallentamenti nel touch o problemi di reattività e non si formano bolle d'aria dopo un periodo di utilizzo "stressante". L'unica cosa a cui dovete prestare attenzione ed essere precisi, é l'installazione inziale del vetro perché ha un preciso procedimento da seguire che vi permetterà di applicare il vetro in maniera perfetta, senza avere futuri problemi o difetti.

Das Gehäuse, das Liquid, UV Licht ... WOW. Gebrauchsanleitung durchgelesen, Videos angeschaut, 15 Minuten Zeit genommen. Ergebnis: PERFEKT.Sitz seit der Anbringung Bombenfest und passt super zu der Samsung Alcantara Hülle.Da in der Verpackung 2 Liquids drin sind kann man im Zweifelsfall die Folie abmachen, säubern und wieder drauf packen. NICE! ;-)Die Bilder die hier bei Amazon sehe wollte ich nachvollziehen und habe mit meinem Kumpel einen Test gemacht.Und zwar:Man nehme den 2. Liquid, spart sich 20€ und kauft sich eine andere Panzerfolie die mit dem Kleber an den Rändern geklebt wird und alles andere als TOP ist. Zieht den Klebestreifen ab und säubert es. Dannach den selben Prozess mit der Folie durchführen wie mit der Originalen ... UND SIEHE DA .... nach ca. 1 Stunde und 5 Min in der Tasche kommen die selben Flecken, Spuren und ähnliches zustande.Die Originale Folie habe ich bei mir, bei einem S8 und einem weiterem S9 Plus angebracht und alles ist so wie es sein soll!!!DESHALB BEHAUPTE ICH GANZ SPONTAN ...Wenn IHR wegen der eigenen Dummheit oder Nichtkönnen diesen Liquid mit einer anderen Folie benutzt seit ihr selbst Schuld. Warum es nicht funktioniert? GANZ EINFACH ... schaut euch die originale und eine andere GENAU an!! Die Originale hat auf der Innenseite 4 mini Angebungen ... 2 unten und 2 oben ;)
