Rerishom Door Security Bar, Heavy Duty Door Stopper Jammer for Hotel

I had been using a wedge with the alarm and the battery went dead. As I searched for a new one this security door bar came up in my search. After reading the reviews on over a dozen of these security bars, I settled on this two pack. It was easy to set up and install. Once I got it to the perfect height where the horseshoe fit snug against the handle and the rubber foot was snug against the door I did everything I could to open the door and IT DID NOT BUDGE!!! I removed it as soon as I tested it and I was genuinely shocked at how easy it was to remove. That was really strange to me because on one hand it didn't give when I tried to open the door but on the other hand removing it was effortless. I prop my door open with a small rock and place the security bar under the door knob. That rock is just about impossible to remove and I get to air out my apartment. There's a lot of crime around here but I can prop my door open in the late night hours and I'm confident that the only thing getting in is air. I've fallen asleep with the door propped open and that's something I would have never seen considered before I bought this door security bar. It was well after midnight and the only reason I closed the door was because the addicts were fighting in the hallway and I wanted some quiet. This thing works. You'll need a battering ram to get through this security bar.

We have these for our front and back doors just to reinforce them, as we live in an area that can be dangerous. I love the extra security that they bring. They also are easy to set up as you can slide them up and down to the height that you need it, and it fits snugly against the door and the floor. Our front door has wood floors and the back door has a rug and it works well on both floor types. These are high quality, and very sturdy. I can now sleep and not be worried that our door is going to be kicked in.

Work great on my doors (I have basic circular door knobs). Easy to use. Def make me feel safer. They don't slip or slide on my doormats. Would recommend.

Our doors technically lock, but it’s an older home with European-style doors, and some can blow open in heavy winds. We also live on a large property where strangers occasionally show up, so after investing in these, we feel much more secure leaving the house—or even just being home alone. They’re incredibly easy to set up right out of the box and just as easy to remove. We keep them assembled and simply lift them away when we need to use the door. They adjust to fit most door sizes and types, and the rubber and bar itself both feel very high quality and sturdy. They’re also compact enough to travel with. If you’re staying somewhere that doesn’t feel completely secure, bringing one along would be easy and provide real peace of mind. 5/5 for us!

These are very durable I put them together with ease and they are very easy to work with but weighted item they are very well made not weak like other brands I’ve bought over the years we tested it ourselves you aren’t going to get through this cast iron bar I have one on both entrances to my home I feel safe now where I didn’t before gave me peace of mind but also let me say they are easy to remove without problems to get out the door if you need to …

Good product, definitely feel safer with it under the door. I’ve had a couple of these before hand and only 4 star because I feel the need to jam it more under the door to make its secure than others. I’ve adjusted the height and everything but still doesn’t feel secure until more force is used. But I’ve tested it out and no one can get in so worth the price

This package arrived on time while I was asleep. I rushed out to the front lobby, and it was still there. So far, so good. I didn't open it until later in the afternoon. The only noise is minimal, just a couple of clicks when I put it together. Installation was easy, the size is perfect for my floor and it fits well under the doorknob. My husband claims he could still get into the door, but I don't want to test the stability or the durability just yet. If you live in a dangerous area, invest in a New York lock.

Amazing have had one for years this newer version stronger and longer knob holder really makes this THE security device! Do yourself a favor and get the AceMining Portable DoorLock security device to pair with this and have on hand for use with any inward opening door no matter the destination or design when near or traveling to keep you safe without tools and especially if can’t bring this too. I got two and bring the rod with me everywhere the replaceable top has a flat version for sliding glass doors which is clutch for hotels or home rentals. Sleep soundly when combined but DO remember these keep intruders AND first responders out, so plan accordingly (fire blanket! And with travel device bring a way to notify first responders of your blockade to save time and their equipment/ bodies but not give away details to criminals)

I had a large dog for years, but when I lost him, I could not believe how vulnerable I felt at night without him. I thought about a security system, but they kinda take their time, and it does nothing at the moment when someones trying to get in. For years I slept with a chair under the front door knob. I do not know why I did not think of buying a security bar sooner, not just for my front door/sliding doors, but these in particular are portable because they collapse, so you can take them when you stay in Hotels, easily fitting in even a small suitcase. I have heard a few horror stories of thieves breaking in, or just "housekeeping" coming in at an unexpected moments. These security bars were the only ones with a wedge at bottom, instead of just a round base. It fits nicely against the floor, and the bar itself is very adjustable to the height of your door's knob. I tried to open the door when it was in place, and felt it would take a tremendous amount of force to get in. The bar is substantial, it is very solid and reassuring, not some toy aluminum thing. If nothing else, it would make a good defence weapon lol. It fits on doors and sliding windows, and has a round adaptor for that purpose. This is a great purchase, and now that I have moved from a townhouse to an apartment, no one can walk in on me without notice(you know what I mean renters). I slept soundly from the first night in my new place, very glad I bought them, and it was a reasonable price to pay for peace of mind!

Really unfortunate that we have to use this stuff but glad that the quality is there. Easy to install and take off daily. Perfect for entries around house, especially those that may not have a lot of traffic. One more layer of protection.

These worked very well (as I found out recently when I locked myself out). They really do block the door from opening and provide an additional measure of security and peace of mind. Highly recommended.

Very good for it's functions and definitely helps me feel at ease during the night time and the day time honestly. However, one of the poles were hard to get ready for use since the little push pin thing was stuck but that should be just a rare issue so I'd still recommend.
