I think this knife set is excellent, sturdy, well made and very sharp. The handles feel slightly cheap considering the well made blade, shame really as it's a great set and worthy of 5 stars if the handles matched the price tag.

I was introduced to Victorinox from a friend who simply gifted me a tomato knife from a set gifted to her. Since then I have replaced almost all my knives with the brand and got rid of plenty of other brands that started strong but ended up letting me down. Like squishing my tomatoes when cutting them. They have all proven to be durable, quality, knives that stay sharp. This set cuts through steaks like hot butter. Don’t get me wrong I use them for so much more. They are highly used as they’re functional and versatile for our kitchen. They are light weight and a perfect size. I’ve had no issues with washing them in the dishwasher. For the money, they are worth every bit of it and then some in my opinion. I’m even gifting to friends, spreading the word so others don’t miss out on quality knives like I have for so many years.

Diese Messer sind der Hammer! Ich benutze sie nicht nur für Steaks, sondern für so ziemlich alles, was bei mir in der Küche landet – von Semmeln bis zu Fleischstücken, die dem Metzger Konkurrenz machen. Und ja, sie kommen auch mal mit dem Käse in Kontakt. Scharfe Sache! Pro: - Extrem scharf: Diese Wellenschliff-Klingen gleiten durch alles, als ob sie mit einem heißen Messer durch Butter fahren. Du musst echt aufpassen, nicht aus Versehen die halbe Tischdecke mitzunehmen. - Spülmaschinenfest: Und das meine ich wirklich. Ich hab ein baugleiches Messer aus diesem Set seit Jahren regelmäßig in der Spülmaschine – immer noch so scharf wie an Tag eins. Also keine Angst vor stumpfen Messern nach dem Spülgang! - Robuste Qualität: Nichts nervt mehr als labile Klingen, die sich bei der ersten Fleischsemmel verbiegen. Aber hier? No way! Die Messer fühlen sich sehr stabil an. Cons: - Ähm, wenn man unbedingt was finden will... vielleicht könnte die Farbe etwas aufregender sein? Schwarz ist halt solide, aber etwas Abwechslung wäre nett. 😅 Unterm Strich: Für den Preis ein echtes Schnäppchen, egal ob du Profi oder ambitionierter Küchenchaot bist. Diese Messer machen einfach Spaß!
