SlimQ 330W Compact Universal Gaming Laptop Charger, DC + 2 USB-C

I have been using this for ~9 months, since September 2024, and this thing is fantastic. I have a Lenovo Legion Pro 7i Gen 8 RTX 4080 laptop. It's a power hog, especially when running the graphics card at full, and has only limited functionality without a 330W brick attached. The OEM 330W that the laptop comes with is large and heavy. Not a problem when it's stationary and at a home dock, but a huge pain to move with anywhere, even just around the house, which is exactly why I ordered this SlimQ version. This thing is tiny compared to the OEM. It has been an absolute joy to be able to travel with it, use it around the house, bring it to coffee shops, etc. I have tested and verified it pulls ~330W when needed (actual number varies constantly according to laptop draw) and functions equivalently to the OEM brick for me. I am able to run games, ML training, videos, browsing, etc., with no power issues. I've noticed no differences in temperature under load from the OEM brick and have experienced no heat issues. The two 100W USB-C ports are icing on the cake and have actually made this the sole transformer I bring when traveling (aside from the laptop, everything else I travel with is USB-C). In the end, this gives me a full-power laptop charger and two 100W USB chargers, all with significantly reduced weight and volume. It's fantastic! It's such a simple thing, but honestly one of my favorite toys, so much so that I am excitedly purchasing the 150W variant for my wife's less power-hungry laptop. I've had a great experience and would highly recommend the SlimQ GaN chargers to all. I've noticed the manufacturer being quite active with support on Reddit and elsewhere. If you have questions or issues, give them a ping before or after purchasing and it seems likely that they'll be eager to help.

My giant 350W oem charger forgot my eluktroniks laptop would only charge in very particular orientations. By default, luckily this new charger was the same plug, but it's really nice that I can but adpatwrd for other devices I have. Being able to charge so rapidly, and charge multiple devices, while also being half the size, is really freakin nice! Also, the build quality is superb. The cables feel great and they could really nicely. Hands down the best charger I've owned. Great cable ties and an included travel case is a nice touch. The case is roomy enough for you to store extra dongle and cables as well. It's not cheap, but it does feel like you get what you paid for in a good way.

I've been using this charger with my Alienware m15 R2 for a few weeks now. When it works, it's great – it's incredibly small and charges quickly. However, I'm experiencing the exact same loose connection issue that many other reviewers have reported. The Problem: Even when the DC cable is fully inserted, the connection feels loose and unstable. The slightest movement or bump causes the connection to break, which is extremely frustrating during gaming or intense work sessions. I shouldn't have to worry about my $100+ charger disconnecting if I accidentally bump my desk. Why This is a Dealbreaker: · Other users have reported ports melting after a couple of months of use · Some have been told by support to "stick a pen into the prongs" as a fix – which is ridiculous for a premium product · The issue seems widespread, not a one-off defect Verdict: I really wanted to love this charger, but a loose connection on a $100+ device is unacceptable. Buyer beware – this appears to be a design flaw, not a rare defect. UPDATE – CURRENT STATUS: The situation has gotten significantly worse. At this point, the charger no longer works at all unless I physically hold the cable in place with my hand. Even when the cable is fully inserted and clicks, there is absolutely nothing inside the port to secure the connection. The slightest movement, or even just letting go, kills the power to my Alienware m15 R2. This isn't a minor annoyance anymore – it's a complete failure of the product's primary function. For a $100+ charger, the fact that the main power port has zero structural integrity is unacceptable. WARNING TO BUYERS: I am not alone – many other reviewers have reported the same loose port issue, and some have even had their ports melt after a few months. I'm now afraid to keep using this even if I could hold it in place, because if the connection is this poor, overheating seems inevitable. Save your money and look elsewhere. This is a design flaw, not a bad batch.

Lasted exactly 13 months. Bought for my son since his power supply for his dell was impractical in size. This supply he loved, but it should have lasted longer. Will be looking for a different brand as a replacement.

I am thoroughly impressed with the product, significantly surpassing the default charger provided with my gaming laptop. Its compact size and weight make it more convenient to carry and use, while effectively keeping the laptop charged and ready. Although I encountered an issue after some time, the manufacturer’s communication was excellent, and my overall experience has been very positive. I am highly satisfied with both the product and the support provided. Well recommended if you want a slim and weightless power brick for your gaming experience!

I have used it for a year now, leaving some comments: 1. I bought this + adapter. It worked well / compatiable with my Legion 7i (Gen 10) laptop, and the charging speed is comparable to, if not the same as, that of the stock charger. 2. It's heavier compared to the stock charger (220W), however. So it isn't as portable as one would have liked. 3. The USB-C charger on those is amazing! Unlike your typical GaN blocks, which all stop delivering power when you plug in more USB-C cables, those didn't. 4. Unfortunately, it breaks down after a year. The XT60 port connection has come loose and no longer holds, and right now it doesn't charge anymore and keeps switching between charge/no charge modes for my laptop. I guess $140 for a year of usage is a bit disappointing.

I can’t speak for durability of the charger since I just bought it but I did confirm that it does indeed put out 100w on both usb c ports (dual port charging my dead anker 26k power bank) while charging my yoga pro 9i at full speed simultaneously. It gets hot when doing so, but it does exactly what the manufacturer said it would do all while being smaller and higher wattage than my original Lenovo 170w charger and adding 2 type c ports.

This PSU works great on my Acer - Predator Helios Neo 16S AI Gaming Laptop which ships with a 230W PSU, and is severely underpowered and therefore isn't capable of utilizing all of the GPU 5070Ti power or the Intel Core Ultra 9 CPU power. This seems to help to utilize and unlock all the components power fully.
