Strathmore (657-68) Vision Sketch Pad, 18" x 24", White, 55 Sheets

This is not paper for fine watercolor work. It is great for making cards because it is so white. I also cut it up to make swatch cards. This is perfect for those uses. I see no statement of paper content and I assume is mostly cellulose.

This sketchbook is a really good versatile sketchbook. The paper is durable but not super hard and toothy. It holds up to a lot of erasing. The only thing that I've seen bleed through is Copic markers and that is going to be the case for most sketchbooks unless you get one specifically made to withstand alcohol markers. I have used Posca pens on it as well and haven't seen bleedthrough. Definitely impressed.

I love this mixed media pad because there isn’t any bleed through, even when my doodling takes a turn to the dark side and I get heavy-handed with the ink. Smooth drawing and easily erased when I use a pencil too. Now I just wish there was a pigment liner that lasts longer than they do for me. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

The media could not be loaded.  I love these sketchbooks because of the ability to draw your own over on them. I think being able to customize your sketchbook is so meaningful! I did however receive a book with a slight defect. Mine had a cut in a couple of the pages but I didn't find it too detrimental so I opted to just keep it. The paper thickness is medium-light. You can use ink and markers on it but you might suffer from some of it bleeding through. But I solve that by keeping a small piece of cardstock in my sketchbook to protect the other pages whenever I use heavy inks. Overall would definitely buy again.

I bought this book for the weight of the paper, as I needed to glue in high quality printer paper cut outs on all the pages, and wanted everything to be sturdy. It worked beautifully for my needs. Very happy!

This is a wonderful sketchbook. The paper is very thick and high quality. Although not watercolor paper, it can take light watercolor washes without too much buckling.

Really like the quality of the 140 lb cold press water color paper because it works great with my watercolor paints. I like the way my paint flows when doing this type of art work. Paper might be a bit expensive for a beginner water color artist other than cost, I highly recommend this product for beginner to master.

This is the first time I try with this brand and I’m happy with my purchase. The quality is good.

Perfect sketch book for mixed media art. I bought this for an art class and it’s amazing. The paper is nice and thick, and it’s great for pen, marker and watercolour paint. Paper holds up well with watercolour and no bleed through. Pages are perforated so you can easily rip out pages. The back cover is thick chip board making this perfect for on the go. 10/10 recommend
