Chlorophytum - Indoor Spider Plant - Easy to keep variegated house plant. These plants are approx 6" tall.Commonly known as a spider plant, they are very easy to keep and tolerant of neglect, so very popular. Quick growing, putting out wiry stems in the spring and summer which have small white flowers and then plantlets on. Ideal to put in a hanging basket so the stems can cascade down.Prefers a bright spot, although it will thrive in almost any position! Tolerant of temperatures down to 45'F.Re-pot occasionally with any general compost.We measure our plants from the bottom of the pot to the top of the plant. The plant you will receive will be very similar to the one in the photo

These new ones look amazing, they arrived in excellent condition and if they are anything like my old one will outlast me. It arrived securely packaged in good condition and looking healthy even though the soil in its pot was fairly dry. I have kept the plant in its pot and placed it inside a hanging basket prior to re-planting direct into the basket as it grows. Everything suggests it will cascade over the basket and I look forward to plenty of baby spider plants.

**Q: How is this plant packaged for delivery?**
A: it was very well packaged in a much bigger box was clipped in to small stakes and then wrapped round in bubble wrap. it arrived in perfect condition.

**Q: What size plant pot is needed? Thanks**
A: I started with a 6” plant pot then up to 1ltr. Just make sure you water and feed and your spider plant will grow into a lovely healthy plant. I hope this helps.

**Q: Have pesticides been used while growing this plant?**
A: Quite honestly 
No since having the plant and watered it regularly the plant has literally taken on the life by itself! The plant even flowers now and taken the sprouts, repotting them, and now they are flourishing rather nicely

A: Hi, 

There isn't really a right or wrong size. You can pot this into a decorative pot at the same size / slightly bigger pot than received. 

Root systems can be restricted meaning that you restrict the plants top growth. They do not tend to die unless cared for properly. 

Indoor plants should be re-potted into fresh compost every few years and you have to remember that you are their only way to receive nutrients, so feed them when appropriate.

These plants are brilliant, I had one for 39 years and it produced hundreds of new plants which all found new homes. Sadly during a recent house move it was lost. These new ones look amazing, they arrived in excellent condition and if they are anything like my old one will outlast me. They are a very forgiving plant, overwater, underwater they just keep going!!! Love them.

The photo shows a large plant with loads of leaves and looking very mature. What you will receive if you order this, is a tiny sprout.... waste of money.
