GENIAL SOLVER THERMAL ANTI CONDENSATION - Anti Mould Thermal Paint (0.75 L)

It worked. I used it to paint my kitchen and I was a bit skeptical of the claims and that a paint would stop mould because we had another kind of anti mould paint in our bathroom but we still got mould. This paint comes from Italy (shipped very quickly by UPS) and comes in concentrated form so you need to water it down. I watered it down in a 5:1 ratio of water to paint. Others suggest 10:1 but thats just too watery in my opinion. I would recommend you buy a paint stirring paddle for a drill just make sure not to "drill" too quickly or paint will splash but it's much easier to get a nice consistent viscosity with a paint paddle.I have had my kitchen painted for 7 months now, and it's survived even now into winter in a humid kitchen and there hasn't been a single repeat of mould anywhere that I painted. As I said I was skeptical at first but two buckets of this has covered my entire kitchen and is really nice. It's a bit rough though as it contains some volcanic ash and the walls are not smooth afterwards but I don't often go running my fingers across the wall and you can paint over it too it says in the instructions is ok to paint over the top with a water based paint.I recommend if you already have mould in the place you want to paint that you completely remove the mould first and use a watered down bleach solution or a proper anti-fungal spray to ensure that it will not come back. It says you can paint over mould but I seriously wouldn't recommend it. IT's much better to ensure the base layer is clean and free of mould before applying the paint as it's not cheap so you don't really want to do it again.

Bought this to use on our bathroom ceiling which has been prone to mould since I filled in all the gaps in the brickwork.Paint came with a paint kettle, info sheet and smallish paint brush (much appreciated). The paint is advertised as white, but I'd say it was more of a very light grey.Treated the mould as advised in the info sheet that came with the paint and put down 2 coats (3 on the trouble spots). It's very whiffy so do ventilate well. Even with the window open I had to take breaks to let myself recover from the fumes as I was made quite dizzy by it.Early days yet as to performance so I'll update again with a sitrep after the winter.[ Edit 17/2/20 Black spots starting to make an appearance again so 4 years mould free is pretty good going. Will be buying another. ]

Great paint no mould through yet, fast delivery worth every penny, simple instruction on how to use, would recommend especially for bathrooms who have a wall that never gets sun and is a cool wall

No mould yet! Very good for a treatment, although as a finish to a wall where you want it to be smooth, perhaps not. Fantastic for textured ceilings. A little goes a long way.

I was surprised when my paint arrived as it came from Milan. I am VERY impressed with this product, it does eveything I wanted, it LOOKS great and gives a lovely finish. Very, very pleased.
