## Description

Lightning X BD44 burn relief dressing is a hydrogel consisting of 95% de-ionized pure water thickened into a high viscosity odorless gel. Our burn dressing gauze pad is a soft, elastic, open-cell flexible foam and can accommodate swelling or the need to flex joints. With its high water content, Lightning X burn gel cools and soothes by absorbing and dissipating heat, which minimizes skin damage. The gel is clear which makes it easy to assess the healing and severeness of the wound. It is non-stick and will not adhere to the burn. A single application of BD44 dressing is effective first-aid on any type of burn injury. Lightning X sterile burn dressing is lightweight and easily transported and delivers hydrogel to the burn site. **Q: How long can I safely store these (without using them) before they need to be replaced?**
A: They’re wrapped individually in a high quality and pretty heavy duty pkg. It kinda feels like it’s foil-lined. It has a notch at the top to tear and I haven’t ever had any problems opening it. Also, I don’t think it could open in normal life by itself. My boxes have been squished several times b/c Amazon put them in padded envelopes. The dressings are never damaged or crumpled. Everything is written on the individual dressing pkgs so you really don’t need the box if damaged. (But a lil tape will fix box!) My last box of these, ordered prob a month ago, have an expiration date of 11/2025 and is easily found on each individual dressing pkg. They have plenty of hydrogel in their pkgs. I think this product would stand the test of time, i.e. storage, really well!  Hope this helps!!

I have thin skin from being asthmatic my whole life. Many asthma meds contain steroids, which can thin the skin. My skin cuts so easily, especially my shins. I also take a while to heal. One little cut makes my skin almost peel away. While it’s technically not a burn, these cloths are very effective . Mt doc approves of, said keeping it moist for awhile helps it heal slower, less of a scar. These are awesome for relief. They stop the hurt instantly and the coolness feels good. The sheets are big and they are very wet, but not dripping wet. I clean my wound with saline wash, then I use one of these burn cloths. I use one every night. Right before bed, I put some antibiotic ointment and a band aid.
