Works like it should. I use it to refill soda stream CO2 bottles. Filled it at the local welding supply for $60. I refill the soda stream bottles about once a month. It will more than pay for itself within 2 years.

Great price. Nicely made. I use this for CO2 to refill my Sodastream canisters. I get 20+ refills for a $40 fill on this tank at my local welding and gas supply place. You'll need a valve that fits the Sodastream either threaded (blue I think) or quick release (pink). I got mine on Amazon for about $35. At $16 a canister from Sodastream....you do the math! :-) You'll have paid for this on the first tank full easily

The best and cheapest way to refill soda stream bottles. The replacement bottles cost Approx, $17.00 each with a empty return. It cost approximately. $53.00 to fill the 20 lb CO2 tank and so far I have filled 12 soda stream canisters. do the math. Check out YouTube to see how it's done

Nice, professional piece of equipment! I use it to refill my "sodastream" small tanks with an adapter I found online (do a google search....there is one from germany that is particularly easy to use with loads of videos on "how-to")….and I am saving a ton of money by using this tank. Contrary to popular belief you should refill your "sodastream" at room temperature. IMHO, I have found that chilling the smaller tanks that go into the "sodastream" machine puts TOO much gas into it and when you press the button on the dispenser sodastream machine it has a tendency to overfill the bottle of (I use distilled water), thus wasting way too much gas!This is a superb product and by all means do get the dip tube model other wise you cannot refill your "sodastream" refill tanks with ease!Superb product that meets all the regulations and DOT requirements so don't let anyone at the gas refill place give you a line of malarkey about how the tank doesn't meet manufacturing regulations, psi minimum, etc.!. Just show them the paper documentation that comes with the tank (SMART MANUFACTURER w/their phone number that instructs air & gas refill places to call them TOLL FREE if they need any "documentation about quality control, etc.) and that'll shut him/her up in a hurry!!Hey gents,....I spend a small fortune in time, energy, and money buying and using stuff here on amazon so, if this review was HELPFUL,....well you know what to do! First off I bought this to use for co 2 to refill my soda stream, I didn’t read the description and didn’t realize that it was empty. It arrived on time and looked great and was exactly what I thought I needed (only empty). I brought it to my nearest air gas store to get it filled and they do not fill in store but do take trade ins, so with buying this brand new tank and trading it in for a not so nice full one you actually save around $50 as opposed to just buying the full tank from air gas so there was an upside to purchasing this tank, though I will say this one was perfect except no CO2.

False advertisement. Purchased this for my husband to refill his soda stream CO2 canisters. It's been acting up the past month and not disbursing probably. He took it to get it refilled again today thinking it was out. He was told that there is gas in it but he wouldn't have been able to get it out unless he turned the tank upside down because it DID NOT HAVE A SIPHON TUBE IN IT. That is why I paid extra and Purchased this one. So he had to exchange our brand new tank for a used old one that had a siphon tube in it. Make sure you get what you pay for. I'm way past the return widow or it would be going back
