There are so many features demonstrating how the design team focused on functionality instead of borrowing the cheapest design like so many companies do. For starters, it comes mostly preassembled. The company already has the major parts put together and took the time to get them straight and properly tightened. You simply pull the bike out of the box, align the handlebars, and insert them into the stem. The brake levers and cables are already installed and adjusted. Then drop in the seat stem. Screw on the pedals, attach the fenders and reflectors, and it's done. The frame is lighter than a BMX bike. The rear wheel has an enclosed disc brake which stops faster. The chain guard is more compact than most to reduce the chance of breaking. The rear fender is mounted to the seat stem so it simply pushes aside rather than breaking if it is accidentally kicked. The kickstand is an unusual design which keeps it out of the way on the back axle. It has a spring lock to keep it engaged until intentionally raised. The company even took the trouble to weld on the base for installing a rear cargo basket. The only oversight is the rear reflector. It is the same type that is mounted on the seat stem of an adult bike, but on a kids bike like this, it isn't visible enough to be safe. But my kid shouldn't be riding in the dark, so it's good enough for us. Not only is it obviously designed with ergonomics and performance in mind, but the high quality components are evident. Review: I ordered the bike according to the manufacturer’s size guide and after assembling it turned out to be too big for my kid. But I am not sure which size. My son is 42 inches. Should I go with the 14 or the 16 inch?** A: Measuring your child’s inseam is the best way to find the right bike size. The correct frame size is the only way to ensure that your child reaches the floor safely and easily with both feet at the lowest saddle height. Inseam length (Inch) Inseam length (cm) Wheel size 12”-14″ 85-90 cm 10 inches 14”-17″ 35-42 cm 12 inches 16″-20″ 40-50 cm 14 inches 18″-22″ 45-55 cm 16 inches 20″-24″ 50-60 cm 18 inches 22″-25″ 55-63 cm 20 inches 24″-28″ 60-72 cm 24 inches 28 inches and longer 72 cm and longer 26 inches Read more https://www.blitzresults.com/en/bike-size-child/ **Q: Is this bike pretty light ? I have bought a bmx type bike for another son and it is so heavy makes it harder to pedal** A: In my opinion this is not a light bike, however this is what makes it sturdy. My 3.5 years old did not find it dificult to pedal. This opinion is subjective - check the specifications of the bike to get exact weight. **Q: can i get this bike wiyth a kick stand ?** A: Dear customer,We provide extra kickstands for all our 16" and 18" bikes. And our bikes can be equipped with standard kickstand, too. If you're not sure what kickstand is suitable for your RoyalBaby bikes, pls fee free to contact us for advice. And we also have the spare parts for sales.TOLL FREE: 1-877-BIKE AID (245-3243)E-mail: info@cyclefg.com //vicky@royal-bike.comBest regards!Royalbaby Cycle Co., Ltd. **Q: Does this bike have coaster brakes?** A: YES, they do! At least the two I bought do, I bought two bikes at different times and they both have coaster brakes as well as a handbrake for the front wheel. Both bikes are the smallest size, I think 12", so maybe the larger versions don't. Both of the twins love them and use only the coaster brakes so far. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review *by A***R on 3 February 2023* Awesome bike.
