Believe the product description.
I was skeptical about the ‘little’ motor in the picture would really run a heavy load for any length of time. We cooked a hundred pound butt of beef over charcoal for 11 hours and it never skipped a beat. Just make sure the meat is as balanced as you can get it (I had a 2lb counter weight on) and you’ll have no issues. The only thing to watch is the spit does have sharp edges so wear gloves setting up-especially the uprights. I’m sporting some pretty good slices on my fingers. Other than that, highly recommended.

Easy to put together. Seems well built but light weight overall. Seems easy to clean out with the vent holes along the bottom. The motor and rotisserie looked to be very sturdy.

Amazing value
I bought this to do my first pig roast, I ordered the pig and was nervous when I picked up and found out it was 97lbs (it was supposed to be 70-90lbs and I was hoping closer to 70), anyway, this spit came with everything I needed, the pig fit with room to spare and it ran for 11 hours and never skipped a beat, this thing is sturdy, quiet and an amazing value, if you’re on the fence, I’d buy it! I’m extremely happy with this spit, trying to figure out what to cook on it next.
