Gafly (3 Pack) Chew Necklaces for Sensory Kids with Autism and ADHD

My 5 yr old puts everything in her mouth. She would subconsciously chew on her shirt, nails and even toys. I talked to her pediatrician that recommended something to keep her mouth and/or hands busy. My daughter loves legos, so I tried these out. She was confused at first, since she told me she knows she is not supposed to put Legos in her mouth. She has stopped chewing on her shirt and has used the necklace instead of toys for her oral fixation. So far the necklace has held up well, no cracks and is still in one piece. This is a great product that I would recommend.

My son is ADHD and recently started bitting his clothes. He destroyed a lot of t-shirts and I found this solution fair : he can bite on something, he thinks it’s cool and I don’t have to send him to school with destroyed T-shirts or buy some every week so : nice.

I'm a special education teacher and I bought some of these for my sensory seeking students. I love them because they just look like a fun necklace; they don't look out of the ordinary like some other "chewelry" I have. They are also priced very well; if you buy from speciality companies they are way overpriced! My only suggestion would be to have options for shorter lanyards; these ones are really long for my little ones. Love them overall!

My son has autism and ADHD. He's constantly sensory seeking. He chews on everything he can get his hands on, INCLUDING his hands. I bought these necklaces out of desperation, after he chewed up the blinds on his bedroom window, and so far, I'm happy-ish with them. He chewed through his first one in less than a week. So far, he's had his second one for 2 days, and he hasn't taken any chunks out yet. If he's not sleeping or eating, he's chewing on his necklace. I'll buy these again when he finishes off the third necklace in the pack, but I do wish they were a little more durable. UPDATE: Unfortunately, we won't be buying these again. My son started EATING the necklace. I still think it's a decent product, just definitely not for us.

We've only had these about a week, but my son has been gnawing away since I opened the package. They've held up well so far, the necklace part was very easy to adjust to the perfect size for him. They are easy to clean and are discrete enough he can wear one to school without being self conscious about it. He was previously chewing his fingers until they were raw and bleeding and this has completely distracted him from that and his little fingers are healing. I have no complaints about these at all.

Sadly these didnt hold up. My son chewed off the ends in one day. I'd guess it's the shape, more than a fault of materials. They are just too narrow and long. He has a chunky blue turtle necklace which has lasted months. The shape and thickness are much sturdier.

Perfect product for my autistic teen. He wears this around his neck and has something to chew on when he is in sensory overload. So much safer than chewing on random objects that he could choke on. The product is durable, came quickly and he loves the colors. It looks like a fun LEGO around his neck so it is not even questioned by others.
