I am beyond impressed with the La-Z-Boy Nova Executive Office Chair! I spend long hours at my desk every day, and this chair has made a huge difference in my comfort and posture. The AIR lumbar support is amazing — it actually adjusts and supports your lower back instead of feeling stiff like most office chairs. My back pain and stiffness have noticeably improved since using it. The chair itself is extremely comfortable with plenty of cushioning, and the high back provides great support for my shoulders and neck during long workdays. It feels sturdy, well-made, and has that classic La-Z-Boy comfort you’d expect. Assembly was straightforward and didn’t take long at all. I also love that it looks professional and sleek in my home office while still feeling cozy enough to sit in for hours. Day 1 Review This chair is solidly built and easy to assemble—I managed it solo in about 10–15 minutes without breaking a sweat (or calling for backup). It’s labeled “big and tall,” for reference, I’m 5'5" and, let’s just say, pleasantly fluffy 😆 (photos included for science). The seat is nice and wide, though not super deep—so if you’ve got a generous back porch, keep that in mind. My back feels supported, and the cushion is thick and comfy. If it feels like you’re sitting too straight, just give the tension knob a few turns and relax. The top of the chair hits mid-head for me. Height and tilt adjustments? Smooth as butter. I added rollerblade wheels because carpet and standard casters are not friends. I’ll update on durability later. For context, my old Serta chair has survived seven years of daily abuse and is still hanging in there—fingers crossed this one ages just as gracefully.

Beautiful chair, comfortable... but the stitching literally popped out completely on one side after six months! We spent $750 to get two matching ones for our office and now it is complete junk and we have to replace.

Cheap quality. Sits really high up. I also like to lean back but this chair only leans back when you apply pressure does not lock in place. I bought this chair for Comfort and it’s the complete opposite. The cushions are nice but not being able to lean backwards hurts my lower back.

Upper padding is a little excessive but overall the chair is comfortable and feels like it’s going to last a long time.

Good quality comfortable for hours

I really wanted to like this chair because it looks incredible, but it is honestly very uncomfortable. Like many other reviews have noted, the back support is positioned too low. Instead of supporting my head, it aligns with my upper back and shoulders, which forces my posture into an awkward, hunched position. As a result, my back ends up feeling like a question mark. Additionally, the armrests are not adjustable and sit too low to be comfortable. At 5'10", this chair feels as though it was designed for someone significantly shorter.

seat was easy to assemble, rolls easily, and it's been a huge improvement over my old chair. My lower back isn't sore after sitting at the PC for 4-5 hours anymore. The reclining tension is pretty high by default, I had to crank and crank and crank the tension knob to lower it to where I could lean back easily, but it got there, might be easier if you're heavier. I haven't tried that many chairs to compare to, but I'm satisfied with the purchase and the price.
