Specially Selected Dark Morello Pitted Sour Cherries, Large 24 oz Jars, (2) Pack

These came wrapped in about sixteen layers of bubble wrap and cling film. They survived the journey, each jar is twice the size I had expected, and the cherries taste delicious. Ideal for baking, mine are going in a black forest cake but would also be good in pie. Honestly I could just snack on them. The syrup is good, too. Very pleased.

Just right thickness Enjoyed the taste

The cherries tasted fine, but many still had chunks of the pits still in them! I made a cherry pie that my family ate a third of and my husband found two pits in one slice, and my daughter and I each had one in ours. I understand that occasionally a pit gets missed, but this is very poor quality control. Very glad no one broke a tooth.

Dislike, my first order was cancelled...when my 2nd order arrived one of the jars was leaking.. Liked, made the perfect pie.. Cherries were tasty and I was not disappointed

I purchased these cherries to make a Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte and the flavor and quality was pretty good. The jars arrived intact and on time. The product description says Hungary however the jar says product of Germany for Aldi brands. Exp date 6/2023. I would take the time and with a toothpick poke each one to make sure all the pits are gone. I found a total of two pits however the jar does caution this.

The cherries were just what I was looking for but I had to purchase two jars to make it worth my while. I used them in a homemade Black Forest cherry cake and they were very good. I thought they were priced a bit high but I was unable to find them in any of my local stores. The seller shipped them quickly and the pad was great. Each bottle was wrapped in bubble wrap.

These cherries are a little expensive, but worth every Penney in a homemade pie, on ice cream, or eaten straight out of the jar.❤️❤️

I ordered two jars that arrived packaged together. One jar was perfect and the cherries were amazing! The other was severely broken and had to be discarded. I almost tossed the entire package because it stunk of rotten fruit while unwrapping and because of the shards of glass. I will say it was packaged pretty well, so it must have been dropped from a height of more than a few feet. Still, I’ll hesitate to order anything in a glass jar again. I know premium cherries look better in glass, but I’d like the option of a can for shipped orders.
