Big Jim NuMex Hatch Green Chile - 30 Seeds from New Mexico - Medium Heat

First year I've tried these in the garden, wasn't sure what to expect. Wish I would have started the seedlings sooner, but wasn't sure when the weather would finally allow to go outside. Germination took longer than expected although most seeds did come up in the house. All in all, though, they have thrived in WY weather even though the summer was a bit later/ cooler this year. I'm hoping the weather holds just long enough to get the smaller ones to grow a bit more.

Solid little sprouts, 29/30 seeds germinated into great little plants. Too early to know about flavor, etc., but they're off to a good start from good seeds. Thank you!

I planted 24 of these and germinated 16 seedlings so far in 13 days. Looking forward to see how the plants turn out this summer.

This seed germinated quite well and the plants are quite sturdy. If the plants produce well, I will upgrade my review.

My friend asked if I could find this particular pepper strain for him to grow. He's elerly and can't see well so I order things for him online that he would like to puchase. He's happy with the seeds and is growning them now.

I plant garden plants throughout the year, from herbs to vegetables, a lot of those are from seed. I have had a few seeds fail to germinate but never like this. I bought 3 different heat levels on the pepper seeds. I planted them in peat pellet seed starter germination pods. After 2 weeks they never germinated. I dumped the pods and container and started over fresh. The same happened with my second planting. I don’t know if the seeds I received were old or what. I do know that all 3 packets of seeds did not germinate.

We had 100% germination, and the peppers are outside growing happy as clams. Very pleased. I've even harvested a few already. We did keep them warm and toasty on heating mats, then with lots of light in a reflective grow tent once germinated. Thank you!
