Love this product. We live near a lake and when I just want to enjoy being outside on my deck for a few hours I don't want to put bug spray on. So, this product is perfect for me! It takes about 10-15 minutes to get working and then you have a mosquito free deck for as long as the cartridge lasts!

Zero mosquito bites for a whole week of camping fires, 3-4 hours a night. Have used it many times since and it really makes a difference. Easy to use but be careful. It was knocked over once and that allowed some of the liquid to spill out. It got on my fingers when picking it up and an hour later I rubbed the corner of my eye and that it burns. It took lots of water and eye drops to finally get it to stop. Be careful.

Works like a charm, if you haven't tried one before, you will not sad. Refills are pricey but more effective than using 40% deet bugsprays. battery last long enough for most uses and you CAN use it while it is charging.

I live on a tropical island where the mosquitos never die and you can actually hear them laughing at your bug spray. The Thermacell is the most efficient solution I have found for biting insects and flies. After a few minutes of heating up, you have a nice force field that keeps 95% of the bugs away. My only issue is the high cost of refills and that they are disposable rather than refillable. These unfortunately create a significant amount of plastic waste that I really struggle to justify when living on an island with no plastic recycling options. It’s also SUPER easy to forget to turn the Thermacell off and burn through full cartridges in a single day. It’s a great product, they just need to make it more sustainable and eco-friendly.

This does a good job of keeping the mosquitoes away.
