I honestly can’t live without this product. It’s become a staple in my skincare routine because it works so well whenever my skin is irritated, dry, or healing. The gel absorbs quickly, isn’t greasy or sticky, and leaves a protective layer that helps my skin recover without feeling heavy. I love the Cicaplast B5 balm, but I wanted something different my congested summer skin. This is it! Every bit as hydrating but a lighter texture for summer. The moisture lasts all day and the gel isn't sticky or tacky. It even still works well over tretinoin and other strong actives. No fragrance and great for sensitive, reactive skin.

Based off some tik tok I saw, I bought this hoping to help the irritation above my eyebrows. Turns out, a thin layer before I go to bed has immensely helped with the wrinkles that were starting to set it. It’s long lasting, has no smell, and a little goes a long way. Will repurchase when I’m out!

I just had my first CO2 Laser treatment and once you get past the required use of occlusives (Aquaphor, Doctor Rogers Healing Balm, Vaseline etc.), I was searching for something lighter that allowed my skin to breath yet soothed the dry, itching discomfort. La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Gel was the answer! After laser treatment, you can experience discomfort for up to 10 days. This gel is super lightweight, spreads easily and is not greasy. A small amount easily covered my face and neck. I like the fact that it is fragrance free - I experienced zero irritation. I found the product extremely soothing and really sped up my recovery with dryness and itchiness. This product was more effective than the lotion I was given my the laser specialist! I already use La Roche-Posay facial cleanser and love it. I am adding this product to my skin care regimen even after my laser recovery is complete. Ideal if you are looking for an effective moisturizer that is lightweight and really works on dry/irritated skin.
