160PSI Portable Tire Inflator Compatible with Dewalt 20V Battery

I have a Catrike 700 that uses 100psi racing tires. I've been using an old 12V brush-style inflator to air them up but old is the operative word in its description. Although it still "works" it was on its last legs taking an unusual amount of time to pump up these tires. I also have a nice collection of DeWalt 20V tools and wanted the new inflator to use the same batteries. I spotted this one seeing that it was a also brushless motor, something I wanted for longevity. The price was amazing so I thought I'd give it a try. So how does it work? What used to take my old pump over a minute to achieve, this new pump takes less than 10 seconds to do. That in itself is worth the money. Add to this speed is its ability to shot off once the programmed pressure is reached and you have pretty much have a perfect pump. You see, my old pump had an analog gauge that only told you what the pressure was. It's little things like this that make life easier with no move concerns of over-inflating a tire. This is not a shop compressor replacement but it is an extremely nice portable inflator for smaller or an occassional emergency task. It does what it claims and with great ease and speed. With the ability to use the same charger and lithium batteries my other tools use, that makes it a great fit for my personal tool collection.

Works, but takes longer then advertising stated and hose gets hot if u fill a tire more then 20lbs at one time also uses a lot of battery power

Received this about 6 months ago and used it a lot for both my vehicles, basketballs, boat and trailer tires etc when 2 weeks ago it just quit. I found my instruction booklet and after reviewing I contacted the support address and questioned what could be wrong. I sent them the info they requested and long story short they set me a new inflator! I am impressed!

Worked good once. On my second use it got smoking hot, literally, had smoke coming from it. Something inside must have melted because it would not turn on after that and smelled of burned plastic. Not only is it a bad product, it’s potentially dangerous.

I've had the opportunity to use this pump several times since purchasing. I maintain an abandoned cemetery as a volunteer along with some friends. There is no power there so I initially bought the pump for inflating & maintaining tires on our riding mowers & trailer. I've since used it to inflate my tractor & hand truck tires. It works great! I've checked tire pressures with a separate gauge and the pressure "auto shut off" has been "right on"!

I highly recommend this product. It is so portable and lightweight that there is no excuse for keeping this as an essential tool, especially in your vehicle(s). You can use it to inflate tires, kids blow-up items, and inflatable sports balls and more. It works on rechargeable tool batteries (available for DeWalt and Milwaukee) so having a spare battery on hand avoids recharging delays of most other portable inflators. I repeat, I highly recommend this product.

I purchased 1 of these back in January to keep my tires inflated without having to drag out my full pancake compressor. I have a full line of the wall for battery products, so this just adds to the collection. I was so pleased with the one I bought in January that I decided to buy a second 1 to bring up to our lake house where he also have some Dewalt tools and cordless vacuum cleaners etc. Inflator is well-made and seems sturdy. Ships with multiple nozzles. There are slots along the top of the unit to store SOME of them, but not all. They could have done better and have a small compartment which opens to hold the loose pieces. Hose has good length. Options for PSI, BAR, Kg/M2 etc. Several presets for bikes, motorcycles, cars, balls etc. Strong airflow. Bright white light. Flashing red light. LOUD of course, so either wear ear protection or stay away while running. This is bare tool with no batteries. Use at least 5AH DeWalt Battery. I recommend this product!!

This is a great hand held portable air compressor. I own a plug in powered mini air compressor that sits in my car. Which works but sucks at night, when it is snowing out, it is dark out or your car battery is low/dead. You have to plug my old one in to a 12v outlet to work. Which it did but was a pain to use. This new one is a million times better. Just plug in whatever tool battery you bought it for (I bought it for Dewalt batteries) and it is working right away. Set it to the pressure you need, plug it to the tire and hit the button once. It will run until it hits the pressure you selected then stops. No having to run cables, or watch it every minute. I put air into all my tires in around 4 minutes. Some tires were very low for some reason. This pumped them all up to spec and I am now happy. Only used maybe one quarter of the battery. I keep it inside my house during the day right now (because it is very, very cold at night for the moment). And will set it up in one minute if needed. For the cheap price it is so worth it. Just make sure to unplug the battery from the tool once you finished to make sure it doesn't drain. Should have bought this years ago. Is great. Even if you only use it once a month the price is crazy good. Filled up one tire from a very low 8 to 34 in less than a minute. My old one took five times as long and was a pain to setup. Even if you somehow loose this or drop and break it, the thing is such a good price it is worth buying again. Now I have to buy another one because someone saw me use it and was super happy with it and wants their own. If you need one and have one of the tool battery types to power it, buy it now. Very very worth it. Very happy with an inexpensive tool.

Le gonfleur fonctionne très bien et est très pratique avec mes batteries DeWalt 20 V. Il offre plusieurs unités de mesure (PSI, Bar, kPa), ce qui est très pratique. Il faut toutefois bien vérifier la compatibilité avec les batteries DeWalt avant de commander. Par contre, j’ai reçu le produit avec la boîte déjà ouverte et certaines pièces étaient manquantes. Heureusement, je n’en avais absolument pas besoin, donc je n’ai pas retourné l’appareil. Le fournisseur aurait toutefois dû vérifier l’état et le contenu du produit avant de l’expédier.

It was giving random number for the pressure and then the pressure would go down while it was inflating... When checked against a pressure measuring tool it would give 14 to 19 psi (changing randomly every time it was connected) when the tire was inflated at 35 psi and it kept going down while inflating. Someone could have a tire explode and get serious injuries from using these cheap tools. I'd rather stay healthy so I bit the bullet and bought the expensive DeWalt one instead.
