Have bought this mug but cannot get the lid off. Please advise . Thanks

The whole black top part just screws off. It's a pretty tight vacuum so it helps to press in the button in the center before opening. If it's still stuck you can remove part of the top inner section to help get a bit more grip (the ridge that goes across the top twists out), but it should just twist off with a bit of elbow grease. Good luck. Denise

To seal this do you just twist the lid shut or do you have to press the button in the middle?

I have two of these and just twist them shut and then check the central button is closed so it doesn’t leak. They are by far my favourite insulated mug. The design helps to prevent burnt lips and spills when sipping.

Is there anyway to get a replacement lid?

only if you buy 3 additional mugs.

Hi ,is that made in Germany or China..thank you

As far as I'm aware they are actually produced in Germany.
