First impressions
I am a hobbist and been at it since early 1970. Early on I learned the value of a sturdy tripod. For decades I used a Bogen 3221 tripod and loved it. It is big and heavy, but very sturdy. I toted it everywhere for all of these many years, but now as I close in on 80 years I don't enjoy it as much. Recently I started in looking for a new tripod...something smaller and lighter. Carbon fiber caught my eye, but the prices shocked me. After hours of looking and reading reviews I decided to take a chance on the economical Neewer LT32. I was very leery and almost sure I wouldn't like it, but was tired of lugging my Bogen around on photo walks. When it arrived and I unboxed it my first impression was I'd made a big mistake. It appeared too light and flimsy with too long, too skinny legs. But after setting it up and toying with it it began to grow on me. I loaded it up with my heaviest gear ( Pentax K-70 and Sigma AF 400 5.6) and tapped the legs to check vibrations. It settled down very quickly. I tried different combination with the same results. I took some test shots in my den and everything seemed fine. It is light, but sturdy and easy to use...a lot easier than my old Bogan. So far I'm pretty impressed. I haven't taken out in the field yet, but I am looking forward to it. After I do, I'll update this review. UPDATE: I've taken the Neewer LT32 out in the field a couple of times on a photo walk and thought I'd update my impression of this tripod. I'm still not totally confident in the LT32 fully extended. That remains to be seen, but on my recent walks in the woods it performed very well. All of my shots were from lowest height to about half extension. I truly enjoyed the LT32's compact light weight compared to my old Bogan. It was a joy to use. I do wish it went all the way down flat on the ground...but it does get pretty low. If I need to get lower I carry a small table-top mini pod and a bean bag. I also wish it had twist leg locks. I really like those. But the lever locks on the LT32 work well and are quick and easy to use. I didn't care at all for the ball head that came with the LT32 and replaced it with my own. That's about it. I still give it 5 stars, even though I have not yet fully tested it fully extended. So far I have been impressed with it and have enjoyed using it. In fact, it has put the joy back into my photo walks.

Excellent tripod. Great seller.
I purchased this tripod as used, but like new. It arrived exactly as described. If it hadn't been advertised as used I would have never known. All the original packaging was included and it was boxed perfectly, like brand new. The tripod has exceeded my expectations. I have heavier, professional Manfrotto tripods, which are exceptional quality, but too heavy for me to carry in the field. This tripod is light, compact, but sturdy enough for my DSLR and 80-400 lens. I love the panning head and quick release plate, which were included. I'm very pleased and would definitely purchase from this seller again.

Great Tripod
I really like this tripod. It’s portable and stable, though a little heavier than I expected. Still, it’s way lighter and more practical compared to my older bulky tripods. I like the sleek look and the build quality, plus the different angle options make it really versatile for shooting. Solid buy overall.

High quality, stable, lightweight, with a high load rating.
UPDATE: One star removed for an easy to fix oversight: After using the mount for over a month, I quickly came across one flaw in the kit provided, which is the 3/8" x 1/4" adapter screw. Unfortunately, the adapter that neeway provides in this kit is the style that has a small lip at the bottom of one end. This style screw adapter is intended to be threaded into the bottom of a quick mount plate to limit the travel of the adapter screw through the plate. On the tripod center column adapter which includes a 1/4" screw, the included 3/8"x1/4" adapter screw with lip actually limits the ball head or whatever accessory you're attaching from compressing at all against the center column plate and causes ALL of the weight to be pivoting on the adapter screw itself. This causes a very unstable situation when you have heavy loads being supported. The fix to this issues would cost neewer nothing, with the fix being to replace the 3/8"x 1/4" adapter screw w/ lip with a 3/8" x1/4" adapter screw without a lip. This would allow the supported tripod head or accessory to fully compress against the center column plate and to properly put both the 1/4" column screw and 3/8" x 1/4" adapter screw in tension which would balance out all loads. Pics attached showing the small gap between the center column plate and mounted accessory as well as examples of the included and correct adapter screw. Both screws could be included to cover all situations, but just the non lip version would be usable for all situations and be much easier to remove as the screw driver alot would always be accessible. Sturdy, light weight, feature packed tripod. I'm using this tripod for astrophotography while melting a 7 lb Star tracker and approximately 7 lb of camera gear. The flip open leg brackets make it super easy to adjust the level as needed. The only small downside to this tripod is the primary head only allows a square quick release plate and not a elongated arca swiss mount. My setup is also using the neewer vixen dovetail which is rock solid.

Sleek, Compact, Tough, and makes carrying a tripod infinitely better.
This neewer travel tripod was the solution to all of my problems with using a tripod. Its light, compact, durable, and quick to deploy. it has replaced a very heavy and bulky metal tripod that i was carring around previously, and is NOTICEABLY faster to get out and set up for use. where i would never take a tripod with me on hiking trips i now find myself making sure i have this one with me. the legs and ball head lock securely in place. i never once feel like the legs are going to collapse in on themselves, or that the ball head is going to knock loose. for the price i am very hard pressed to think of another carbon fiber tripod more worth your money.

The Perfect Travel & All-Purpose Tripod – Lightweight, Compact, and Extremely Reliable
After several weeks of researching and comparing options, I was looking for a multipurpose tripod with an emphasis on portability for travel and hiking, but that could also serve well for indoor photo and video use. After all that searching, I finally decided on the NEEWER LITETRIP LT32, and I couldn’t be happier or more satisfied with my choice. It was absolutely the right call. One of the standout features is its lightweight carbon fiber build. It folds down compactly, easily fitting into any backpack or travel bag. And thanks to the removable center column, it can be folded even tighter, saving more space — something most tripods fail at due to their bulkier leg angles. The Spring Flip Buckles are hands down the best leg-locking mechanism I’ve used. They’re fast, reliable, and give you visual confirmation that each section is securely locked — a big advantage over twist locks, which can sometimes leave you guessing. Despite its portability, the tripod is impressively sturdy. It firmly supports my setup — a camera paired with a large Sigma 150-600mm lens, totaling about 3 kg. It’s rock solid, even with that weight. I did choose to replace the original head with the Neewer GM27, which created a fantastic combo for both video and photo work. The tripod’s ability to detach the center column and mount any head is a huge plus in terms of versatility. Another nice detail is that, being carbon fiber, it doesn’t get cold to the touch in low temperatures — a big improvement over aluminum tripods when shooting outdoors in cold weather. Lastly, a great bonus is the inclusion of two 1/4” screw mounting points, perfect for attaching a magic arm, ball head, or other accessories based on your needs. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a compact, professional, and well-thought-out tripod.

It's SO close, but has a fatal flaw.
It's light, compact, stylish, has a number of great features, and is ideal for traveling. The integrated ball head that moves 30º without being raised is a nice touch. The leg releases are nice and ergonomic. The clicks that keep the legs spread are study. The whole thing is sturdy, except the vertical adjustment tube is only held straight at a single friction point, not a collar, and it slips easily when adjusting it. So, it's a little harrowing raising/lowering the head with the camera attached. I was willing to overlook the lack of a panoramic axis (isn't this thing made for the kind of people who take panoramic landscape photos?), but this tripod has one MASSIVE flaw. The button that releases the camera clip from the ball head saddle is right next to the lever that adjusts the ball head itself. It's also the most intuitive place to pick up the tripod and move it with the camera still attached. !!!BEWARE!!! I have almost dropped my camera on the ground at least 3 times so far, because I have either mistakenly hit the button when attempting to adjust the ball head or because I bumped the button on accident. It is far too easy to release the clip, even with the lock on. The lock very easily slides to the unlocked position and you don't even know it. Even with the lock on, you can depress the release button partially and the camera clip can move a little in the saddle and you have to reseat it. My camera has come off the ball head even with the lock on; that's how much play there is.

Great combination of features
I probably own too many tripods, but I'm consistently on the hunt for the 'ideal' tripod. I started out with the Peak Design tripod -- although, I opted for the alumnium version. I'm pretty heavily invested in Peak Design hardware and have a lot of their mounts so finding something that is compatible with a Peak Design mount is a requirement. The Peak Design is great from a compactness standpoint, and the rotating ball head and control is great. However, I wasn't willing to pay the $$$ for the carbon fiber, and one of the biggest critiques of the Peak Design approach is that there's no pan mode. Next, I picked up a Ulanzi Zero Y -- this one is carbon fiber, offers a pan capability, has a similar profile to the Peak Design, so it's super portable. It does work with the peak design mount, but it only locks the plate in place on one axis, so if you aren't careful, the camera could theoretically slip out or come loose in the mount along the non-secured axis. There are lots of ways to compensate for this, but when you have a nice camera and lens on the tripod, it's something you should not have to worry about. The mount on this is also not a quick release so it relies on the screw for tension. On the plus side, it offers many of the same capabilities as the Peak Design tripod along with mount points for accessories, AND, you can pan with it. So, why buy the Neewer? Well, for one, the price is exceptional. Neewer comes in cheaper than both Ulanzi and Peak Design by a long margin. The quality of build is great - the clips on the leg are made of metal (far better than the plastic clips that break over time with usage). The Neewer comes with a quick mount that works really well with the Peak Design mount, albeit, with some limitations. The quick release is super secure and motion is restricted in all directions. The one downside is that the mount will not necessarily work with other arca style mounts that can have a wider footprint. This is not an issue for me, but just something to call out. The ballhead stem is also slightly different than the other manufacturers. Neewer's stem is round -- the advantage of that is you can actually pan the camera by just loosening the stem lock (although the stem can't be extended when doing this). It was a nice 'feature' to discover. Other than that, the Neewer checks all the boxes -- the carbon fiber material reduces the weight, it has the quick mount, it has the quick positioning ball head, has accessory mount points and much more!
