This item, a long handled silicone bath brush is (almost) heaven on earth when using it. In contrast to a plastic or wooden-with-sisal, coconut or other fibres, it does not scratch your backside off until well worn in, like the plastic brush, or shed, split and rust (with the nails attaching the brush head to the stick) like the ore natural brush would do. It has a long handle to reach those difficult to reach places, on one side shorter 'bristles' to massage, the other side the bristles, also made of silicone, are slightly longer if one wishes just to apply soap to ones back. The bristles protrude from the brush head which means that they do not shed eventually, and are not abrasive as the plastic or natural bristles would be. The whole brush is one piece, so there are no rusting nails, loose fibres, splinters, risk of splitting of the brush head or the brush head dis-attaching from the handle. In short, a delight.
