The real original Ceylon cinnamon sticks. It's not as sweet as the quill ones. I will recommend to anyone who wants good cinnamon sticks.

These cinnamon sticks are excellent quality and I have these on subscription. I use them in my rum and coke. Perfect length, nice and compact, highly recommend.

Usually when you open a pack of cinnamon the smell of cinnamon is noticeable straight away ,unfortunately didnt get it with this pack.When you break the stick then yes you do get cinnamon smell.Flavour wise it's alright.

I'd been so used to having cassia cinnamon that this tastes much milder. But it seems authentic and I'm happy with it. Thank you!

What a lovely clean sweet smelling product, great value for money.

It certainly looks like the real thing, but I wonder what on earth it is, since it has NO TASTE and NO SCENT. The date is good, as you can see in the pictures. In any case, I have had cinnamon sticks in the past which have keep fragrant for years. I wonder what they are selling these days as ¨cinnamon¨. It is not cassia bark, it would be coarser but still tastier. Unfortunately it can't be returned. I see it has now been reduced to 5.84 now. I paid 6.50 which is money down the drain. Don't waste yours. BTW, Amazon did not invite me to submit a review of this product, while it did invite me to review others in the same order. Strange.

Does not smell of cinnamon, very brittle, doesnt seem like ceylon cinnamon, seems fake tree bark with a weird smell

I put about 2cm of one of these cinnamon sticks, scrunched up, into my coffee machine's grinder along with the beans every morning for my morning coffee. Out of curiosity, I tried chewing a small piece of this Real cinnamon to check the flavour. I found that it is very sweet and delicious to taste. I would not hesitate to sprinkle this eg on a dessert. I have been type2 diabetic and had heard of the medicinal properties of 'Real' or 'Ceylon' cinnamon for some years, but could never get my hands on any. Even healthfood stores only appear to do the 'Cassia' cinnamon, which can be harmful if you take too much. I am surprised to read the number of negative comments here. I can only assume these are from people used to, and who favour, the spicier Cassia variety of cinnamon, typically used by food manufacturers. With any spice, how you store them greatly impacts on how well they retain their flavour and aroma. A 6inch (150mm) x 4inch(100mm) airtight coffee bean storage jar imo would be ideal for keeping these Ceylon cinnamon quills in optimum condition the longest. Suffice to say I am delighted with my purchase, it is exactly what I wanted.
