Puresport Premium Stainless Steel Gua Sha Massager Tool, Multi-Purpose Muscle Scraper for Body & Face, Supports Recovery & Reduces Tension by Improving Blood Flow & Lymphatic Drainage

This was an integral part of my recovery regime when training for my first marathon. I’d have like it to have gotten a bit deeper in the muscle, but it was a great ‘starter’ blade and combined well with the muscle rub.

Not as large as a sidekick tool but perfectly useable as either a small one to chuck in a sports bag / suitcase (or if you don’t have giant hands). Good quality, sturdy and nice smooth finish. Works well with a massage bar / oil etc

As someone who often struggles with tight leg muscles I must say this is a fantastic addition to the gym bag! I found this to be extremely effective at loosening my leg muscles after strenuous exercise which helped my recovery. For awareness, I'd recommend using this with some form of balm. Personally, I was using a moisturiser balm (doing two jobs in one!) but Puresport have their own muscle and joint balm. This measures in at about 2.5cm wide and 11.5cm long and also comes with its own cotton bag for storage which certainly makes it easier to find. I found this to be very high quality, this will definitely not flex or bend when use given that it's made from stainless steel. The only sticking point for me is the price, there are stainless steel gua sha tool of similar shape and size for a much cheaper price.

I was pleased to have had a chance to review the Puresport gua sha tool, and it is excellent! Gua sha is an ancient technique to assist with lymph drainage and deep massage, and this tool is a great way to help with it. Originally done with shaped stones, this is a new take on a very old design. It is exceptionally durable and will easily last a lifetime! The finish is smooth, so no chance of metal splinters at all. A really good quality product. I have been using this in several ways, all of which work well so far: - Using the wide side as a deep massage tool to drag over the thighs along with some gel (I used a cooling gel, but whatever you normally use will work fine) - Using the pointed end on muscle knots - Using the shorter straight edge at the ends before the point to assist with massaging in scar gel to my shoulders All of the above work really well, and save tiring fingers, which you'll know if you've ever given a massage can get pretty worn out before you're done. Metal never gets tired! It is also apparently useful on the face, but I don't really fancy that so I'll stick to sports uses! A very good product, and easily worth the asking price.

This is a palm sized stainless steel gua sha that comes with its own little bag. It's long length makes it ideal for use for large areas such as arms, thighs and legs. If you have anyone to help you this would also work well for shoulders and back, especially where you may have knots. This stainless steel makes it perfect for use with any cream. The edges are generally smooth however I would have liked the tips of the gua what to have been a bit smoother. The branding is nice and simple, though I would've preferred not having so much text or any for that matter. Unfortunately for the price I am not sure I can recommend this, as a stainless steel piece this shouldn't cost this much, perhaps it it was half its price then this might be something I could recommend, or only if you need something that can withstand a lot of pressure.
