m not usually a fan of buying boots online because you can't try before you buy. Also, being delivered from Spain, I wondered whether it was going to be an issue returning them if they didn't fit. That said, I'm glad I did order them. They arrived within about 4 days and when I opened the box, there they were. A stunning, beautiful boot which oozes quality and style. My only concern then was-are they going to fit?. I slid my foot into the boot and........perfect! The size was absolutely spot on, as if they were made to measure. Yes, compared to other boots I've had in the past, they were quite expensive but, I have never had a boot of such quality before. The leather is so soft, you won't even have to break the boots in. They are warm and waterproof, so, in England, I'm sure I'll be wearing them most days due to the poor UK weather. If you are 'thinking' of buying these boots-go for it. You won't regret it.

Firstly, the one star isn't indicative of the quality of the boot; I'm still going to buy them but from elsewhere. They came recommended for moving to a Russia as one of the best options for warm shoes, and I still think they are!The one star is for whoever fulfils these orders and deals with returns/replacements. The boots I ordered clearly said "UK size 10", but they sent a European size 44 (equivalent to UK 9.5). The difference may sound small, but once you factor in the thick socks etc. this will be a problem, and they don't fit. Also, the right boot was slightly misshapen, it was stretched and didn't fit correctly.An honest mistake perhaps, but one that needed fixing, so I requested a replacement item and asked for the correct size, even stating that a European size 44.5 is what I need (in case they only have boots labelled with those numbers). Then, upon receiving the replacements, they are the same size as before, 44, thus being too small. The right boot was also misshapen, albeit to a lesser extent to the first one.So I am returning them, and paying more at Soletrader to actually get, you know, what I pay for. Thank you Amazon for wasting my time, wasting the plastic packaging they were delivered in and for the avoidable pollution from the delivery vehicles coming and going from my house.EDIT - Just to add, after buying the boots from a company that can read, Soletrader (paying the extra money is worth it for the right size boots that aren't misshapen), the boots are fantastic. Perfect. In the coldest part of the Moscow winter (-25/26'C degrees was the lowest temperature of the times I checked) with only one good pair of socks my feet were always perfectly warm. They are excellently made, look as good as the day I bought them, good waterproofing and as I said perfectly warm. The zip is super convenient as coming in and out of houses here you need to take off your shoes every time, as fiddling around with laces is a pain. I would really recommend the boots, but from a different retailer.

I had to take the liner out of the boots for my wide feet to fit comfortably with my thick polar expedition socks. Light socks should have no problem.I’ve had the boots for over a year and wore them every day. They are remarkably comfortable, warm, durable and continue to look great with minimal wear on the solesI’ve always been a boot person and these are the best boots I’ve had for under £250. Most £100 boots are worn through the soles in 6 months to a year and uncomfortable from day 1.I can only see myself purchasing Panama Jack boots for as long as their quality remains at this level. Indeed I am looking for a light summer weight boot now.

Had these boots before, excellent quality and the uppers wear out far before the soles. Usually the first thing to go is the zip. Then the crease across the top of the boot starts to leak water and then split, so its important to keep the crease well waxed. Also after a while the welt delaminates from the upper. I have had new zips put in as there was still lots of wear in the boot and was a good investment.

I have bought these before and have worn them almost every working day for three years with no problems.Still very comfortable. Got a second pair while they are still at a good price.
