Dried Apple Rings

I see a lot of comments of people complaining because they expected apple CHIPS. This product isn't called apple CHIPS, it's apple RINGS. They have a firm but chewy texture which is exactly what you should expect from dried apple RINGS. They taste fantastic and helps keep me from snacking on junk food!

Perfect big bag of dried apples. Every file I dip these in caramel and then and chocolate. They taste just like caramel apples.

We buy these for my husband to use in his morning oatmeal. They reconstitute nicely, and as a snack, they're good, too! Storage is easy as they do not have to be refrigerated. This item would be great for camping, for emergencies, for go bags, or anywhere when fruit is not available.

Id like to start this off saying you cannot return this item and i did get a full refund, but please be cautious with these apples. With in a few short hours of eating these apples my family and i got sick. Like on the toilet for hours sick. And at first we didnt connect the dots. But every time we ate even a single apple ring, it resulted in long hours in the bathroom. Btw we didnt even finish a fourth of the bag, at most an 8th. They had a great flavor other than a few pieces randomly tasting of garlic. They even smelled fine, looked fresh, and of good quality. They were soft, a nice big size, and initially everything we were hoping for. Unfortunately idk about you, im not trading a snack for being sick. The amount we got was worth the money, but the stomach issues werent. Maybe your batch may be different. I did get a full refund but still felt that i needed to warn others.

Good flavor & texture - taste ia like fresh apple.

I was beginning to think that dehydrated apples were a thing of the past. They’ve disappeared from grocery stores near me in North Carolina. All I could find were freeze dried apples. That’s not what I was looking for to make fried apple pies. I went to my standby for just about everything (Amazon) and voila there they were. I had ordered from Nuts before so was satisfied that I’d get what I expected. They were moist and good value for the package size. The results after re-hydrating and cooking can be summed up by what my daughter said when I called to ask if she’d tasted the pies I dropped off at her house. She laughed and said that they were gone five minutes after I drove off. For everyone in my family they stir up childhood memories of the best kind.

In all honesty, I am addicted to these. The b product from this company is top notch. Moist. Chewy and flavorful. I used to occasionally eat them as a kid. But now it is my go to snack. Better than chewing gum, and candy. It adds fiber to your diet, when you need for health reasons. The "sugar" is natural, not the processed garbage. Now I keep some in my backpack, car and home. It is in my opinion healthier than the processed garbage. Highly recommended.

These taste ok, chewy in texture. and look nice. The rings aren’t brown in color because sulfur dioxide is used on them to maintain the coloring. I wasn’t aware of this and wanted all nature apple rings without the sulfur dioxide added just to protect the coloring. Also I found the package misleading. It says proudly ‘packaged’ in the USA but beware the apples are from China.
