Absolutely amazing set up!! My boys went down to Panama City Beach. These poles way past my expectations pier and shore fishing. Bought these on a whim because we didn’t want to put our long fishing poles in the car traveling. These were compact so easy to use high-quality for the price. Caught some great fish. We did guy braided line, Pompano rigs. They worked great!!

Best collapsible setup you will find. I had zero issues and we used two of these for a week in Glacier bay Alaska. It comes with 12lb braided line which might be fine most places. Unfortunately the first fish I hooked was never making it in the boat. I didn’t have the drag properly set and after the rod bent literally in half the line snapped. Second fish was this salmon that took about 30 min to wear out. Then caught another immediately after. Next day we both caught huge halibut on the same rods. This went on for 8 days straight. Both rods had no issues collapsing and back in our carry on. Order with confidence

The pole kinda sucked, very flimsy and the top guide eye popped out, so I replaced it with a smaller sturdier pole, but other than that, the whole reel setup and extra spool were fantastic, the case was also pretty good, and the small box of lures was good, I keep it in the car for those random after work fishing days

I was very happy with the quality of the reel for the low price. I was surprised it was so good and smooth. The hole item was a great value but that reel really surprised me.

This is another well quality made fishing rod. Unfortunately, I cannot take a video of this or take a picture because we already wrapped it for her birthday present. We're gonna deliver it on the camping trip.

I used this fishing rod only a few times, and it has been disappointing from the beginning. The screw kept coming loose every time I used it. Then the tip of the rod broke, and after that the handle suddenly came off completely. The overall build quality is very poor, and I can’t recommend this rod.

The Sougayilang Fishing Rod & Reel Combo is a surprisingly good setup, especially for the price. The rod itself is really whippy, which makes it super easy to cast far without putting in a ton of effort. The baits it comes with are actually good quality—definitely not the cheap stuff you sometimes get with combo kits. The included line is solid too, so you can take this out of the bag and start fishing right away. My only real complaint is one of the clamps that locks the reel into place tends to get loose. It doesn’t affect casting or performance, but it does get a little annoying having to tighten it every now and then. Overall, it’s a great portable setup for both freshwater and saltwater fishing, especially if you want something reliable for travel.

Super great quality. Comes with a decent little set up that you can run and go with it. Mind you extremely limited tackle-wise but great nonetheless. Definitely recommend. I keep it on my motorcycle at all times now. If you’re trying to ride your bike to a lake to fish this is the perfect set up.

I am waiting for my reel and rod ... am afraid now after last reviews read .. I will report when I get it.. praying for it will be good ..

The rod appears to be well-built and the guides are true and very smooth. I was impressed with the small tip guard that came with it - totally reusable! I won't have to worry about breaking the tip while portaging. I found the rod a little stiff but I usually use a light medium action rod. The reel is exceptionally smooth, light in weight, and has a no-reverse feature. It spooled 80 yards of 10 lb test monofilament quickly and easily and the bail worked quite smoothly. So far so good. I'll update once I have fished with it.
