Same quality, half the price
TL;DR: All portable electric heaters draw 1500W and gradually circulate air through a room until the ambient temperature matches the internal thermostat. This one just does it cheaper. This model looks sleek, it's very light, the case almost immediately cools down after powering off, and the fan is pretty quiet. It works as intended: 1500W (the highest wattage allowed in the US and a standard with all heating units) is quite hot if you're in front of it, but the unit is pretty small so the amount of cold air it can suck in through the back is going to be small too. It's best used under a desk (where the air is partially trapped between your legs and the "fireplace" surrounding the heater) or at face level where you can just feel the heat right away. There are a few additional drawbacks. The safety anti-tip switch is just a short peg, so it's got a hair trigger (uneven surfaces, say like tile or brick, the peg might slip into the grout gap and shut the heater off). There is also no real "low power" mode; typically low-power would be ~800W whereas this unit still goes at ~1100W (note that the fan always goes at a consistent speed; the low-power mode just lowers the strength of the heat). And of course any knob-style thermostat is very inaccurate; the lowest the knob goes is like 75ยฐ and unless the room is barely bigger than the heater, the ambient temperature will almost never hit that. If you're getting a portable unit, emphasis on portable, this should be your go-to. On high, it can still keep an already room heated. It won't instantly warm up a small room (give it 15 minutes), but it will definitely be great as an under-the-table heater for your feet or an immediate hand warmer after washing vegetables.

Itโs a keeper!
I ordered 2 diff brands and it was this one I decided to keep. Very quick warm up even on low, great air flow. I lightly pushed it w my elbow doing something else and the auto shut off worked immediately. So that was reassuring of that safety feature. It had a decent amount of cord length and I canโt even hear it when itโs turned on. Very quiet. I did use it a few times in the bathroom opposite side, away from bathtub. My bathroom gets so cold in my apt. (But its warm everywhere else, go figure) This little heater sat nicely on the floor (away from any water!-I wouldnโt chance putting it close to me on the toilet or bathroom sink ever!!!) It felt so great not to have goosebumps half way thru my bath/shower. Only downside is thereโs no real handle to hold when youโre picking it up to move. Thereโs this little ledge on the back of the heater I can barely or securely hold onto and I have small hands. Not a big deal, itโs light to move and I use two hands. Iโm so happy with it:)

Good little space heater with remote
I'm not a fan of Chinese products (for both functional and political reasons), but I've had good luck with Vevor. Their products are not perfect, but they have always worked and had decent build quality. This little unit had the features I was looking for. It has a remote that lets me access all of the functions on the unit. It has a display that is easy to read and lets me see what it is set at. It oscillates to distribute the heat. It is quiet on all settings. The heat output is good for an office/bedroom size room. It has a tip over switch in the base. Not something I need, but not that big a deal to restart the unit when I have to pick it up and move it. The top has a lip around the edge making it a good place to put the remote when not in use. You can set the temp, but since the thermostat is in the unit, you just have to figure out what setting gets the temp you want vs. what it says. No different that other units. Now the negatives. IT IS NOT UL LISTED! 4 stars off of the safety features for that alone. As I've said, I've used their products before with good results, but not being UL listed means I have to take extra precautions with it. Their other products are not UL listed either, and I have them placed so they are unlikely to cause problems if they fail. They put the FCC part 15 compliance statement on it, like that means anything for this device. The remote is IR, not RF. The buttons on the top of the unit are capacitive. I would have preferred momentary push buttons. I have had other devices with capacitive buttons that failed rendering the unit worthless. Finally, the heat output is good, but I have had better. I'm pretty sure this is due to the fan. Units I've had that were better had louder fans that pushed more air. Having said that, it is something I can deal with as it only means that it takes a bit longer than the louder units to warm up the same space. This is a good cheap unit that does the job with oscillation and a remote, but should be UL listed. If you want to heat a normal size office or bedroom, this will work for you. If you have a large room, get a unit with a better fan. At the end of the day the fan is what allows one fan assisted 1500W heater to outperform another. If you don't mind spending a lot more, I've always liked the fanless convection heaters, but they cost more and take up a lot more floor space.

Best space heater value on amazon. Note the minimum of the thermostat is 60 something...
I think this is probably the best space heater value on Amazon right now and have tried a few. The fan seems reliable and quiet, the heat is constant and has two levels, the unit is solid and attractive. There is only one downside to this heater which is that the minimum temperature of the thermostat is probably in the 60s so you certainly can't use it by itself in, for instance, a pump room that you want to keep over 35 so it doesn't freeze. I would probably prefer 750-1500 instead of 1000-1500 but that is a very minor quibble.

Small and EFFICIENT
I bought this heater to use in my downstairs half bathroom, as the bathroom doesn't have an HVAC vent, and I prefer not to leave that door open all the time. When I tell you it will burn you out of the room, I'm not kidding; this little heater is powerful. It can easily turn my half bath into the Seventh Circle of Hell. The heater has a thermostat, and although I saw a review that suggested only the lowest setting would really work for you, I've found that a little above that (and definitely barely a quarter of the way up) works to keep it a comfortable temperature in that room. I've paired the unit with a smart plug to make it easy to turn the heater on and off (make sure your smart plug can handle the heater's wattage). It's a great combination. I will admit that the safety switch can be annoying, but it's designed to stop the unit should it tip over - and it's a manual button, so if you lift the unit to move it, it's going to turn off. But I'm grateful the unit has this built in, so I can't be mad at it at all. I absolutely recommend this heater for use in small rooms - but I would avoid using it under a desk unless you want to subject yourself to the infernal fires of Hades.
