I like this product because it is an exact fit replacement part and the cost is reasonable. I did use some silicon grease in the repair. Over all, I am very pleased to have been able to repair the drip and avoid an expensive plumber bill.

I am generally a fan of generic products, particularly when they are 1/3rd the price of OEM, but they need to function. Cartridge does not fit housing and will leak severely if installed improperly (confirm that the triangular "tabs" on the cartridge fit snugly into the "notches"). I had to buy the name brand, which slid into the housing perfectly on the first try. It's only off by a couple of millimeters but in plumbing, millimeters matter. If you can't get it to fit by your second try, it's not going to work. Save yourself the hassle and do not buy this product. You're going to have the water turned off by the time you realize you made a mistake, so I hope you have a hardware store nearby.

Bought the Delta brand cartridge, cost a lot more but worked well. Was getting the old 20 year old leaky cartridge out and I didn't want to save a few bucks and use the universal $30 cartridge instead of this one (About $90) that some reviewers reported issues with the other one. Once the old cartridge was out, this cartridge went in perfectly.
