A: It’s definitely chunky. 6 or 6.5 mm crochet hook.

A: No a single. I have used it to make leg warmers for my daughter (hmm thought they went out of fashion when I was 16!) fab colour though and looks great when knitted up.

**Q: How many balls do I need for a ladies pompom hat.**
A: 1

A: I think this yarn knits up as aran.  It is definitely not chunky.  The Lion Brand website may be able to give you more information.
