The baffle is easy to fit and has totally stopped squirrels from climbing the pole to the bird feeders. This baffle will pay for itself within a month or so via reduced bird food costs.

I bought thus to stop a rat getting onto my bird table. Rat ended up being caught and relocated. Instead it's stopping mice getting on to the bird table. Sturdy. I had to adapt it to fit on a square wooden post, It didn't come with the bracket that holds it in place on the table. One was sent very promptly, free of charge.

Firstly, I should say this wasn’t bought to deter squirrels, it was brought to deter rats from going up the feeder pole and accessing the bird food. It worked very well for this and was easy to fit.

Does the job! Only problem is cleaning the bird poo off

As per a number of other reviewers do not bother with the cheaper plastic versions. They do not work and are a complete waste of money. It seems strange to review a squirrel deterrent, however although this item is not cheap, as soon as it arrived it is plain to see that it is actually a quality product and designed to last for years. Literally within minutes of placing it on the bird feeder we saw a squirrel metaphorically scratching its head as it tried to think how to get to the bird seed. It gave up and has never returned. Perhaps more importantly we had recently had a couple of rats actually climbing the bird feeder and even getting between the bars of the “squirrel proof” feeders. This dome has completely bamboozled them and they cannot figure out how to get past it. Brilliant!

It's OK and stops the squirrels eating all the bird food but it catches a lot of the bird droppings and becomes unsightly very quickly.

This baffle is brilliant. It is strong metal, well made and has a neat seam. It arrives fully assembled in a very large box. I'm not sure how well it would do with canny squirrels but it has completely solved our rat problem in one fell swoop so we are delighted and the birds are relaxed!

This is the 2nd attempt to find a baffle for a bird feeder. It should have been perfect but one of the metal fixings is bent and therefore the screw cross threads making it useless. Have been given a refund immediately and have ordered another. Hopefully the next one will be better.
