This is now the second such repair kit I have purchased. The tap was about 18 months old when it required the first, and this has lasted about the same time. The new one has once again restored the tap to "as new" condition with no leaks. They are a little fiddly to fit, but not beyond the capability of anyone handy with a set of tools. The allen key (the only required tool) is included. I had to cut mine down as the tap is quite close to the wall. But other than this I am totally happy and with correct usage expect to be back for another in 18-24 months!

This repair was well worthwhile and made me wish I had done it sooner. The only problem I had was that the Allen key didn't fit the grub screw but I think the grub screw had been damaged. In the end, I had to use a thread extractor to get it out but that was nothing to do with the product. Once the new o rings are fitted the difference was remarkable the stem is firmer to move but that is how it should be and no irritating leaks.

Delivered promptly following my order. A very easy operation to replace the defective "O" ring seal. The supplier even has a You-Tube video on how to do it with step-by-step instructions: If your Franke Olympus/Olympus Tap's spout is leaking at the base, this will fix it for you in a jiffy!

I found that the grub screw fitted to our Olympus tap was smaller than the one supplied. Luckily I had a alum hex screw to fit our screw, after that it was easy to remove spout and fit new seals.
