Decent quality battery set and good value. Easy enough to install if you know your way around Macbooks. This battery was a direct replacement for the original battery on a HP ProBook 450. On a full charge, I get about 5 hours use time and even longer time when it is used in and out of sleep mode. So, so far, it seems to be A-OK.

Battery worked great and was a good price

I have installed an aftermarket battery in my other Macbook a few years ago from another manufacturer and am very happy with it. I could not find a battery for my new laptop from the same manufacturer so I figured I would try this one. I am beyond disappointed. I should have returned it as soon as I opened the box. It looked like a very cheap attempt to duplicate what it should look like. There were zero instructions. I just youtubed them but the quality of the battery looked very poor. But I had it so I installed it. Right away the first 2 charge cycles it did not last any longer than my 5 year old OEM battery. After the computer relearned the new battery it seemed to be on track to be a good battery. But then while I was working on it and it was clearly around 25%, it completely died. Plugged it in and it was at 0%. Let it charge back up and it seemed to be fine again and lasting a long time, right up until it died in the mid 20% range again. That was all I needed. I looked further and was able to find a batt from the manufacturer that I have been happy with in the past and the first thing I did on the computer when I installed the second new battery was to process the return for this one, and then wrote this review. If it looks like a turd its probably going to be one, I should have known better, but I figured I'd try it. What I got for my trust was having to redo the job twice. No thanks, returning it. Do not buy this one. Plenty of other ones out there, and apparently they are NOT all the same.

Let me preface by saying the only reason I took off a star is due to the battery not being rated 4,800 mAh like it says on the battery. It actually is more like 4,300 mAh. I digress, the battery unit came with all tools needed to complete the job. It was OEM fit and the connector on the battery connects the same as the OEM one. Installation was easy, though no instructions given with the product. Appearance is sleek and OE.
