The star cut outs really take the cake. They are a bit long for the window but there wasn't a shorter option with the width I needed. I don't mind really, because my daughter is going to LOVE them regardless. They block out the light pretty well beside around the sides. Definitely buy at least 10 to 15 inches more width than you need like I did because the large plastic rivets don't allow it to pull flat very much. Very easy to slide on the curtain rod though. They are the perfect weight to not flow around too much with the fan going or window open.
