Fun to play with and shoot at targets!
We got this to play with outside and shoot at targets. The “foam” bullets are a bit on the harder side and they do fly quite the distance. The shells don’t always eject the first time though. Otherwise it’s fun to play with and overall actually quite impressive. My son who is 6 likes to shoot at his towers and it’s pretty easy for him to reload and shoot by himself. Overall not too bad and would definitely buy again!

2/5
The bullets don’t fly far and its overall quality is pretty low. Too expensive for its quality would not recommend buying. Package came with four of the brown bullets when it clearly indicates it should come with 6.

What a strange toy
For better or worse, I've never seen a dart gun like this. Each of the six 'shell casings' has its own spring mechanism inside the shell, along with a small button on the back. The orange nubs that act as projectiles are manually inserted into the shells and click into place. Two of the six that came with this toy were apparently broken and would not click into place, so I didn't even get to test it at full capacity. For what it's worth, the toy works fine without jamming. Pulling the trigger causes the slide to quickly spring back and forward, springing a spent casing out of the mechanism and pressing the button on the fully loaded one- in that order. The result is that a casing is only ejected after the second shot, plus an empty one after all the bullets are used. Because the entire launching mechanism is inside the shell, the rubber bits are only launched with the force of a half-inch spring, meaning they don't go very far or very fast. Similar toys have given me greatly decreased expectations, so as far as I'm concerned, 'works mostly correctly' is a passing grade. Not a high passing grade, mind you.

Fun, but not always reliable, hard to reload
Super cool idea. Pretty hard to get the projectile into the spring loaded casing. A couple of the casings were defective - I couldn't get any of the projectiles to stay in it. The ejection mechanism is one shot behind the shot and so the last shell casing will only come out by shooting one time after the last one. There were also times when it didn't shoot as expected. The gun was still unique and fun and my boys had a great time shooting targets with it

Soft Bullet Toy Gun
I have actually tried a few different models of shell-ejecting guns and as much as I wanted to like this one it's really just Ok. I say that because this new design on the bullets kinda is pointless. They made these spring loaded and now when I go to fire it it majority of the time has ejected before I even pull the trigger causing my gun to jam every single time. They shouldn't have messed with the design with this gun. How's the saying go of its not broke don't fix it? I mean I completely understand the thought process but I at the same time don't understand because the springs are super sensitive. You're literally better off holding the bullet casings only without the gun and just push the eject button because the guns magazine fires them all before you do! It's still sorta fun to play with fire me only because I can fire the little rubber bullets without holding the gun so nobody knows its me doing it so for that entertainment alone I will give it two stars but a I don't recommend it besides for that.

Great for practice...
I did not include any photos or videos so I would not offend anyone. I was very excited to receive this product so I can practice as much as possible without having to use real ammo. Blue and black seems to be a great color choice for this product and will NOT confuse anyone of the real thing. The magazine works as intended but does take a little jiggling to insert. The ammo itself has to be pulled together by inserting the little orange rounded piece into the gold casing. The pretend ammo loads into the magazine just like the real thing and will give me the opportunity to practice so I can load real ammo into my magazines. You can pull back the slide like it is the real thing but it does take a little force to get the slide to pull back. This is a negative feature since the real thing is heavier and does take some strength to pull back the slide. Another great thing is the capability to repeatedly pull the trigger without having to pull back the slide release. Overall this will be a great tool for me as I continue my firearms journey. I am super happy with this purchase and a keeper!

Do not buy!
Do not buy this trash! Complete waste of money. They don’t go anywhere. Maybe 2 feet. I didn’t even give it away. I threw it in trash where it belongs. I didn’t even want to return it because I didn’t want to waste my car gas taking it to the drop off place.
