The cutting does slow down after cutting a dozen or so hard stones, but sintered blades need to be peened to remove the glaze that covers the diamond. After sharpening it cut like butter again. The only thing I didn't like was how fragile the middle insert was. I bumped it on my first blade, it fell out, and I could never get it back into the middle. Ended up having to get a second one. It would cut through anybody else's saw. I cut several Brazilian agates in about 2-3 minutes each, it went Beast-Mode on them.
