This is a 6 Star book for me. I just love Daisy Haites so much, she deserves the world. I do however think it is annoying that it felt like this was so much about Magnolia Parks again and I get it that she spends time with Julian but this is Daisy's book and I want more of her. This was beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time. I love Daisy so much she deserves to be happy, to have everything she wants.

I’m not sure I ever want this series to end, at least not the Daisy portions. Ironically enough, I’ve decided to take a break so that I can continue to savor the beauty within this story. Also, I’m just not in the mood to dive back into a world predominantly inhabited by Magnolia and BJ. I knew I was intrigued by Julian after his brief introduction in Magnolia Parks, yet who knew he would become such a dominating force not only in the streets of London but also in the hearts of the readers? He is an incredibly complex character who I am rooting for through and through. I previously stated in another review that I think he’s too good for Magnolia; however, I will once again reiterate that Magnolia is a lot more interesting whenever she’s around him. It’s so crazy that all three parties involved (Magnolia, BJ, and Julian) need a tremendous amount of therapy before they should ever consider being involved romantically. However, BJ’s behavior was still atrocious even after seeing one, so who knows? The inner thoughts of Julian during this entire book are beautifully heartbreaking. The whole "have you ever been in love" discussion with Magnolia did me in. Regardless of what will or will not happen regarding Julian, the frustrating proverbial fact remains: Julian and Magnolia will never have a chance due to either his profession or her unwavering obsession (not sure I would call it love) with BJ. Random insert - I was listening to an interview with the author, who was stating something in support of BJ (he’s definitely one of her favorites, if not her favorite), and she suggested that he’s one of the characters that improves the most in the books. Listening to this, I felt like I was in the Twilight Zone. I would wholeheartedly disagree with this, especially when you have Christian leveling up his maturity game in The Great Undoing. I mean, the man made MAJOR strides. He and BJ are not in the same league. Among other things, Christian actually decided to break it off with a girl who technically wasn’t even his girlfriend just because he knew it was wrong to be involved with her while he was in love with someone else. Meanwhile, a proud BJ decided for more than half of The Long(est) Way Home to remain with his girlfriend until Magnolia left Julian first. Dude. I just cannot. All in all another easy 5 stars here. Continue to love Daisy, Christian and my baby, Julian.

Questa serie mi piace un sacco, non so se qualcun altro in Italia la legga onestamente; ma il libro è arrivato in condizioni ottime e sono super soddisfatta!
